They were incredibly talented!! I miss their music too. I got to meet them, when they did an all acapella show at Walmart for the Knock On The Sky album, and they were so sweet & so cool to talk to. 15 year old me was SO freaking excited!!
This song is sheer genius and the video is equally fabulous! I miss these ladies SO much. All of their songs are well written and have the tightest harmonies. Easily my favorite group...ever!
Timing was exactly the problem here. Everyone back then just figured they were trying to compete with the Dixie Chicks, who at that time, late '90s/early 2000s, were pretty much unstoppable. That is until the remarks about the president on foreign soil and the whole fiasco with Toby Keith pretty much got them blacklisted. Had these girls come along after that, they probably would have found much more success.

Either way, the song is a gem! Love this band, even years later in 2021! Hey ladies, how about an updated re-release of this song. I saw SheDaisy at a sales convention in Dallas a few years ago and got a polaroid with them after the show(taken by their mother-lol). They were so nice and personable and stayed behind long enough for every Polaroid and autograph that people wanted--and then some other co-workers and I hung out with the band just chatting--all that and so much talent as well.
A woman may be the sublime beauty and personification of love that keeps the world worth living in, but guys need to keep in mind that within her, every woman carries within her a mob of personalities and attitudes; she is the world, but also an entire sanitarium, and that can flow close to the surface at times. Treat your woman right and step correct, lest ye summon the wrath of the mob within. Men would do well to remember that they, as a Woman, aren't alone in there. She is Legion!
They were incredible. Beautiful voices and great songs. We purchased all of their albums as they came out. Then we excitedly purchased front row center seats to one their concerts in Palm Springs approximately 13 years ago, and WHAT A LET DOWN! The base was cranked up so high so you could not hear their voices at all. So we tried moving further back, then further back again; finally we were at the exit, and still all you could hear was base, no voices. Sadly, we left disappointed and heartbroken. I guess they stopped performing shortly after that concert. No wonder if that's how they performed live...
I do love this song, but when I imagined a music video in my head it was quite different from this. There's such potential for a fun story here, too bad they didn't try it
