Awesome upgrades Bruce. Your custom additions have surpassed your lettering on the truck. The back of your sleeper lettering is perfect for the custom additions. Follow that theme and colors throughout the rest of your lettering. Truck looks awesome and many thanks to the guy at semi casual. Retired Large Car Pete owner operator.
Great call on leaving wet kit on White Collar.. opens up so many options from dump trailers to detach
Everyone thinks it’s illegal to delete but in a recent ruling on the news there was a story that all these laws that the epa enacted are themselves illegal and hopefully all the former glider kit builders will get back into building them
It’s stupid on and def has no proven fact of anything being better but it is illegal to Delete on no one has said in court and finalize it is not so we delete and not announce on it you sell one don’t say it was we keep secret with on people
Deleteing was never illegal. It was against the rules. But I know what you mean.
They closed the glider kit loophole is 2021 Starting in January of ‘21, they’ll be allowed only for their original purpose, which was reclaiming late-model powertrains from wrecked trucks. This goes back many years, to when glider kits were bought as service parts.
Doesn’t apply to vehicles
@@nattydreadlocks1973 Congress gave authority to EPA to make rules. Which have same effect as a law. So, yes modifying or removing emissions on vehicles is illegal. Ask the Diesel Brothers about it not being illegal.
Blue Collar 2.0 Is looking Fantastic! Hope your deck plate gets in soon! Keep up the videos they are awesome! Another will it start is always something to look forward to! God Bless you and your Family sir!
No better time to do a delete. The epa just got a spanking
That was regarding power generation not vehicles. It held up vehicle regulations saying that power didn't extend to power generation regulations Yeah, they got spanked but doesn't help us. Since they closed the "off road/racing" loophole.
@@donaldwilliams6821 they need another spanking. This emissions bullshit is a abuse of power.
Hey Bruce. Just a little fun fact. Some of those dpfs can be split open and gutted or have a pipe put through it and you can just put it back together and tune it and nobody can tell otherwise
As far as appearance, you are right, no one can tell if you deleted the dam thing. Mine is a 2008 389 and I did delete it back in 2013. If I hadn’t, I wouldn’t be able to survive, it would simply bankrupt you, but if the EPA vans that you see at the scales or on the roadside stop you, they can find out easily, all they have to do is to hook their sensors to the truck’s stacks. The fine for that is $15K, and the solution? DON’T GO TO COMMI CALI, there’s plenty of trucking in other than that hell hole.
Someone on here from my home area I'm from Tampa lived in Polk now in duval.love our home grown boys .yall do good job be safe n give more content
I have hooked up stacks on trucks with weed burner exhaust, it was not easy and requires a ton of cutting pipe and tig welding. I used oval pipe in some places and tons of pie cuts to route the pipe back and into the stacks.
My main thing I hate is how the egr returns the exhaust gas back into the motor all that sot and heat . When they get deleted and you block off the egr is one of the main things that I think helps the life of a motor. That said I totally understand and agree with your thoughts on not doing it!
Agree most people think the def and the one box is the worst part. Definitely the egr In terms of engine life. That’s why all the pre egr engines get a mill at least before overhaul.
Correct. You cannot keep all that carbon inside the engine and expect longevity. A freeze plug inside the egr feed tube works great, and no one suspects anything.
Crazy beautiful truck. Just move company badging like you said. Real stacks and that would be my dream truck (not worth it today though)!
Man as always majorly saving my life motivational.... Salute , Blessings to everyone grind and motivations....
Pete looks great 👍 Bruce! When you go back to finish it out, have your visor up front painted to match the truck.
This was a great insight/ instructional video on yur part bruce ,,straight 2 the point & no B.S!!
Man. I'm very happy for you Bruce. Been a fan since the will it start on the very first cab over. Blue Collar 2.0 looks bad ass. Hope to come across you one day.
Thank you for the video, always a pleasure to watching your videos.
I'm loving this build
If I owned all three of those trucks .they would have some loud bass in them with a killer stereo with a bad ass amp
love love the set up bro!!
Awesome video Bruce thanks for sharing buddy 👍
CONGRATULATIONS ON 600K SUBS....ROAD TO ONE MILLION 👏
If you don't like the hydraulic tank cut one of your fuel tanks in half weld a divider and fittings in it weld it back together. Have someone that knows how to weld on used fuel tanks do this. The pump likes the oil up high like that but should pull ok from a side tank.
Dude! That thang is killer! I am wondering if you could do some sort of old cab over restoration in the future?
He did... guess what he "F" them up and gave up on the project. couldn't make up his mind on what to do and had a first International Cab over and did all nice things to it, except for the frame stretch, spent a lot of money and didn't finish the job! total waste of money. I'm surprised he hasn't stretched the frame on a NEW truck.. but he will end up screwing that one up too making it look like it belongs to a circus with all the lights and crap! I hope he realizes that more lights you put on they are required to be burning when needed as DOT dosen't play games when mods are made.
Pet.Looks Great.
NOW THAT WHAT YOU CALL
A GREAT JOB.
GOD BLESS ALL Y'ALL...
Truck is looking sick!
Man copper - rose gold all the Chrome would be wild!
I seen a truck that put red lights in the stacks . Thought it look cool 😎 It’s looking sharp. Your doing great.
DPF systems are why I got put in a 2005 379 after driving a 2018 579. My route doesn’t allow the DPF system to work properly causing major problems constantly, especially in the winter. And the sad part is my 379 gets the same, if not better, fuel mileage 😂
Damm the rigs looking so dang good now!!
Wow great truck 🚚 got to love the 600 horses 🐎
I average 135 miles per gallon of DEF on my 2017 DD13. I had a couple problems with the one box. Frustrating but I did lots of reading and bought a reader/regen tool from Diesel Laptops. Had some strange trouble codes, but ended up just changing out the Nox outlet sensor. I always carry spare Inlet and outlet Nox sensors with me. Nice channel. ✌️
lol dd13 goodluck man …
@@mondo9.2.5 I’ve been an Independent since 1998. This is only my third tractor and it’s been good so far (530,000 miles), but I take excellent care of my equipment. Plus I never idle this one more than 20 minutes for warmup and cool down. ✌️
Truck looks freaking amazing!!
Gorgeous truck Bruce looks like something that came off the TV show Chrome shop Mafia on CMT
Wet kits are handy, in a lot of situations. I'd keep it for sure. Plus its just a backup for your business.
I don't know anything about lorries, but Bruce yours is sweet. Especially with the matching paint on the tanks and fenders etc. Great job.
Need more day cab builds on youtube!!
Get a trailer with a winch to use for picking up dead equipment. The "White GMC" tractor with a winch trailer will be a good investment. As a equipment hauler, that style of trailer came in handy so many times.
Congrats on 600K subs! ✌️👍
That’s the Beauty Of CAN-Bus, that Allows the truck to Keep Running when something Shits the Bed.
Smart move Bruce. Beautiful truck.
Those steps color matched would look dope Bruce
Awesome lookin rig Bruce
Truck looks really cool 😎. Love it
WOW THATS BEAUTIFUL
That thing would look sick as a day cab
dont give this idiot more ideas..
The white coe is cool as hell too
I would still hook the stacks up. I'm liking that white cabover!
If Bruce decided to hook the stacks up what would he have to do?
@@rudycarlson8245 U shaped elbow to run forward to a "Y" pipe.
@@fsctrucking thanks for the info!
Hey Bruce hope you an your family are having a great weekend buddy love both your truck but blue collar is my favorite see you in the next one buddy
That cabover sounds awesome !
Congratulations on 600k subs love all your videos 🎊 👏 💐 🥳
That's always been a good looking Pete but those fenders sure set it off looking good 👍
Truck looks awesome!
truck is looking great! 👍👍
Looking good!
That is mint man what a beast
And Bruce mate this a main reason why I will never stop running my old kwhoppers , a 1979 kw lw 924 logging truck, and a 82 w-900 both have 3408 cats and gobs of hp , 18spd trans , and do triple digits loaded , 35 tons of logs with my 79 lw , and 85,000 super b train with my 82 w-900 😊
I think you should make white collar the pull truck. Put some big turbos sticking out by the back of the cab
Precioso quedo el camión
Awesome information video
I would use the white for local hauling
Needs the black frame of trailer painted blue to match truck and sides front and back polished
Awesome song at the beginning of the video
Sweet ride
Beautiful truck
Wow truck looks great
I love your truck the way it is
Bruce you have one Beautiful ride time to put a stainless wing on the hood and bunk that would make it look killer bud what a ride.🤙🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍
My 2018 ram 3500 had zero issues in the 65k I put on it before selling. I know 08-15 had quite a few issues especially the dealer only service after derating
That thing looks bad ass good job love it
Is this inboxreal or is it a scam using Bruce Wilson’s name?
Truck is looking so good! I love blue color. I’m a COE guy. But DAMN!
I think you should paint the trailer blue.
Great video Bruce your Peterbilt is awesome really like all the paint to match parts and the fenders on the rear. Looking forward to your next video stay safe Bruce.
That's why I'm glad my 2016 Mack CHU613 PINNACLE has the Suitcase style DPF system. I have actual Dual exhaust. Instead of the Dummy stack I would go old School Pete style and just have one.
I heard mack had the best environment equip.
Those DPF’s are a safety hazard, there’s been a lot of fires started and vehicles melted down because of them. So now in Aus if you do any work in grassy areas or on properties that don’t allow DPF vehicles on their blocks you can legally get them deleted. Just need to do a bit of paperwork
Nice good for aus similar thing in most SOUTHERN states we don’t do emissions tests on diesels just safety checks
I never had trouble with my vehicle with DPF. I know short distances isn't good for it but once or twice a month go in an area with hills and when driving up the hill drop gears down to 2nd and rpm around 3500 to 4000 for couple minutes to burn what ever is in the exhaust as occasionally you will see a big puff of black soot.
This is factual
@@db7059 it’s from the heat generated by the burn process, as you said the get bloody hot and if they’re in close proximity to grass or grass has got between the guard and the DPF the grass will start to burn.
One bloke I know of was gutting roo in a recently harvested paddock and the stubble caught fire.
@@maldenfoster I’m not telling you what to do, but figured I’d just help you to understand something, the EPA which is the entity that issues the fines for deleting dpf, and egr’s, is a FEDERALLY run entity, completely separate from any state laws, and any state laws or inspections are in addition too., basically because your state does not enforce emissions standards, does not make you ANY less responsible for following FEDERAL laws, it only makes you less likely to get caught doing so, but believe me, Justin right there in this video IN FLORIDA, got a fine that basically forced him to beg for mercy, and promise to never cross them again.. it happened to PFI speed just for selling a part that allowed the user to have the ability to gain access to their computer, that allows them to among other things adjust fuel maps, and timing..
Those fenders are a 4eal nice touch bro 👌
keep the clips coming
I miss your mud truck mobbin the dunes jumping!
The white Cabover is a cool old truck
very nice Pete
Super nice truck.
Yep best to leave it like it is the newer dpf trucks don’t have near the problems of the older ones and I get the stacks too long nose peterbilts look bad without them but ya don’t want the super heated pipes on the side just keep her looking pretty and keep trucking
We have 2018s and been such a headache (300000-400000mi). Maybe it's just a Paccar issue. When people say the emissions give them no problem, that has not been my experience.
You should think about stretching the white & putting on a 26 ft roll back bed
Bruce great info for the folks that don’t understand
Some still don't understand.
I believe Dynaflex has developed stack kits (2X Series) specifically for emissions trucks that prevent the heat building up.
Also another reason to not delete the truck would be a dealer would most likely not work on it if it were deleted not to mention it voiding your warranty.
Hate to say it because I love the sound of an old engine , but this is just what the new era is , accept it or be left behind . I work for Mack and Volvo dealership for 4 years and people think the aftertreatment system is the devil when it’s really not that bad , I’ve worked on several 900k-1.5m mile d13s in Volvos and Mack that keep on truckin
The clouds in the background at 11:13 looks like a dragon 🐉
The same problem you talk about 8-9 years ago is still a main issue. You loose a dpf sensor your truck will limp or not drive at all currently 6 trucks in our fleet are down for a sensor that’s is 6 months plus on back order
Over here in europe some guys prepair the exaust system of new engines to stright pipe them. Sounds great. But also iligal
Looks good all that Black suit going up in the air ;)
Lmao, driving a truck with fake stacks is like wearing work boots to an office job.
Hey Bruce that 3306 in the white cab over is a good motor and that pump is only a small 3406b pump you can turn em up just like the Bs I rebuild those pumps all the time let me know if you need something or anyone else more than happy to help out
Truck looks awesome, only comment would be to get functional stacks to finish it off.
Nice video and great content
My dream truck
Bruce truck looks amazing love it the trailer needs blue frame to match the truck take care and stay safe G.Whyte
Looking good 👍
That cadover will be and awesome tryaxle dump truck
Once you do something to cover that center hub on the front wheels, they will look a lot better. Just a matter of opinion though.
When you kept talking about doing the tanks on top of everything else I thought it was going to be too much and look bad but man I was wrong thing looks 🔥 now
That truck would look outstanding with a black frame.
Love the truck man it’s looking better and better as time goes on can’t wait to see it finished
The grease on the 5th wheel looks like icing on a cake....yummy! 🎂 😄 A 5th wheel shaped cake, that would be cool. Here's what I find weird, the new diesels have to have DEF, but older diesels are still allowed to operate. So, then what's the purpose (other than just useless regulations) On cars, catalytic converters are cut out of exhausts all the time. I've never heard of "Death by diesel exhaust" ever written on any death certificate.
