This, as the late Yogi Berra would say, Deja vu all over again, as I swapped a "full race" .030 over 327 into a '73 Luv back in '77. It was a sleeper. Had a lot of fun beating Hemi Cudas, big-block Vettes, etc. at street lights before they'd roll the window down at the next light with "WHAT is in that thing?!" Had to fab everything as there was no swap kits until a year after I did mine.
