I really enjoy your videos. The commentary is always so good. The visuals as well. Thanks for your efforts in presenting your dining experiences so superbly. I look forward to them all. Good job!
Wow! I like your entro on child hood flavors that never looses flavor like old school rock and roll. My mouth has been watering throughout the video, and the pineapple upside-down cake is my favorite my mom knows very well. Anthony's Prime is The Best!
Had this buffet yesterday. U are right best buffet ever. Already made reservations to go back right before Christmas next month. Ugh, can’t wait. Lololo 🎉🎉🎉
So glad you liked it...I'm really looking forward to going back there soon as well, 😁😁. I went last year around Christmas and it's the perfect place for the holidays, 😋😋🎄🎄. Thanks for watching and commenting, 😁😁
Kudos to you for your videography and commentary! I follow all the LV bloggers, from Tim Lee, Norma, Ruby, Matthew, Dan, to Danny the Medic. I love the time you take in your videography to display the food in such a wat that I can taste it, same for your attention to detail in describing the food! The only negative is that all the food you sample, you have nothing but praises for everything! I have eaten over 100 times at a buffet and there is no way that every bite was amazing! In this case, with Anthony's brunch I will have firsthand knowledge on October 6th and judge for myself. On the plus side, you join Tim Lee as my favorite UA-cam content creator's! Looking forward to watching all your content!
Thank you! It's great to get such feedback from someone who knows so much about the LV reviewers! I think you're going to love Anthony's Prime especially the lobster, carving station, and DESSERTS, 😋😋. I'm surprised to hear you say we praise every dish in all our videos. Agreed, there are some reviews where everything we had was very good, but in most of our reviews there always at least one or two dishes we feel weren't that good and we say so. We also have a Worst 5 of Vegas video: ua-cam.com/video/zGgUxsH-Jts/v-deo.html as well as a 'Bellagio Buffet has fallen' video: ua-cam.com/video/HHdgyTRT9FM/v-deo.html We also got a lot of criticism about our review of Esther's Kitchen because people thought we were too negative: ua-cam.com/video/gHNmyNjrja4/v-deo.html Anyway, thought you might find those interesting to watch! Thanks for the great comments and for watching our channel...and hope you have a great time at Anthony's! 😁😁
There’s been a few reviews on Anthony’s but you nailed it! Your editing makes your vlog so enjoyable to watch. Thank you, hope to be able to go one day.
You're undoubtedly building a superb reputation for restaurant videos that focus on the FOOD, are articulate, display an excellent knowledge of the culinary arts, and do not patronize the viewer. With all of these positives, I will only tweak you gently because it seems that all the reviewers of Anthony's Prime Sunday Buffet, yourself included, state that it is in Las Vegas when, as I'm sure you know, it is in the adjacent large city of Henderson. So why not say so? In my opinion, it does not diminish the value of the specific video or the theme of the channel to note the actual location. I love your videos, so please don't shoot the messenger - grin!
Well, you've brought up a very interesting topic. Most people don't know the details and it's far more confusing than you mention. First of all, The Strip is not Las Vegas! The hotels and casinos of the Old Downtown area are part of the city of Las Vegas, but the new section, what we now call 'The Strip' is south of the city of Las Vegas. Some of 'The Strip' is in a city named Winchester (such as Circus Circus ) and part is in the city of Paradise (such as Wynn, Caesars, MGM and McCarron Airport). Summerlin (which is technically a 'community') is within the city of Las Vegas, but, as you say, Henderson is it's own city and this is where The M (and therefore Anthony's) is located. As locals, we, as nearly everyone else here, refer to the entire area as 'Vegas'. It would be more accurate to call this huge area Clark County since ALL of these areas are within that county. Now, back to your comment...we had never given any of this any thought when making our videos as most people just refer to everything in Clark County as 'Vegas' and to the typical viewer it would be very confusing if we said, Best Buffet in Winchester! Not only would that be confusing but we'd probably only get one tenth the number of views as people don't go out to Google and search for "buffets in Winchester", lol. So, despite being inaccurate, we're going to continue to collectively refer to all these locations as 'Vegas' but continue to list their true address in the description area of the video. Oof, definitely the longest response I've ever made to a comment, lol. Anyway, thanks for viewing and bringing up interesting issues!
@@LetsEatVegas It is true that The Strip is not officially Las Vegas, but is in unincorporated Clark County, starting at Sahara and heading south from there. I think it's a different situation when talking about Henderson, however, a distinction that Eater Las Vegas has no trouble making when writing about restaurants in the Las Vegas Valley. I think it would not be confusing to refer diners to the M Resort by noting that it is easy to get to by just heading south out of the city on Las Vegas Boulevard until passing into Henderson with the towering M Resort straight ahead. Full disclosure, perhaps to explain why I'm a bit xenophobic on the subject: I live about a five-minute drive from the M Resort and take some pride in having it be a Henderson showcase, so I guess I'm a bit of a "homer" on the subject. Anyway, I appreciate the opportunity to dialog with you and promise not to belabor the point any further. You obviously know your stuff. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for watching! And yes, the prime rib was fantastic. Really, everything was very good with the Lobster, Wellington, Prime Rib, Paella, and Desserts really standing out.
Delighted you reviewed this buffet, everything looked cooked to perfection!!! I need 4 stomachs to taste it all and then be in a glorious food coma for the rest of the day…..
Hi, we were lucky enough to get a reservation online early last year. Delicious! May I ask, when you say call early on Sunday for any cancellations, what time is early? Really want to go again. Great video
Hmmm, I'm pretty sure it was Sunday morning although it's been a while now...trying to remember...it was either 7 or 8am on Sunday morning or 7 or 8pm Saturday night.
Aloha guys! This looks like an excellent value for the money. Especially when the cuisine is executed at the highest level! If you add the name of the restaurant to the title, your videos will show up when someone searches for it. Just a thought to get your views up. Mahalo for your detailed review!
I went there on my last trip. I reserved my spot 6 months out. It was amazing. I ate so much, I was wrecked for the rest of the day. It was a good wreck.
Thank you 😋. Yes, we had a great time there. The hardest part is putting the video together later and getting to watch all the magnificent food again and again...makes you really pine for the place!
Well, we didn't. We called very early Sunday morning and there was a cancellation. As a local that's a viable route but if you are here for a few days then you really can't rely on that approach. Also, when we got there and were waiting to be seated a few parties just showed up and also got a table due to a cancellation or two. So, there's that strategy also! Have you tried to get in at Anthony's?
@@LetsEatVegas No, my wife and I have wanted to go here for a while but we weren't sure how viable the 'show up and wait for a cancellation' method would be. Looks like we need to give it a shot. Thanks! Keep up the great videos. Edit: Looks like I should also watch the whole video before I ask questions...
Quality video and narration of your videos is excellent. The perfect mix of the aforementioned attributes. While $100 is a lot for a meal this seems like an excellent value for the money. A lobster tail or two and a wellington and you have at the very minimum made up the $100. Anything after is a bonus. Based on what I saw and heard you describe value of this meal seems to be an A. Easily an A.
Yes, aware of that, but we wanted to add a bit of humor to the video. Also, since it looks like an airplane why isn't it called 'Airplane' chicken, lol. Also, also, also, the chicken at Anthony's was not attached to the breast, so technically it wasn't Airline chicken.
Here's a hint on the other name for Airline Chicken...we mentioned the two curmudgeons from The Muppets. They were named after two famous New York hotels (one being The Waldorf-Astoria). The other shares the name with the other name for Airline Chicken!
FOREGT Anthony’s Buffet. You cannot get into the Sunday lobster buffet even 6 months out. Only a parade of UA-camr’s get in. They hope you will go on other days!
Well, the lobster buffet is only available on Sunday. As for the UA-camrs, we don't tell restaurants who we are so we got in just as anyone would. You need to call Sunday morning very early and try for a cancellation. It happens quite often. Good luck!!
Yeah, I'm not sure ragging on your friend's paella as a disappointment was a good idea, as far as future invites are concerned 😅. That said, great video, very comprehensive. The M is our go-to in LV (along with Red Rock), and we will be there for the buffet in March. Your video has whet my appetite for it. 🦞🦀🥩
