I also grew up in the PNW in the states (Parkland, WA). Walking up and down hills to school was dodging little rainwater streams and puddles! Going outside usually means going out in the rain!
I've watched Tim's channel for a long time, but it only just dawned on me from this video (when Tim has guests dining with him) it reminded me of whenever I do the same, dine with friends; some of my friends are too polite to say "Hey maybe next time can we catch up without you making a vlog about it." My friends all know I have a youtube channel but it doesn't mean I need to make a video on each and every occasion especially when my friends want to just dine and have a full conversation with me over a meal. Some or all of Tim's guests may not mind at all, that he's "working" as well. However, I feel I can't necessarily say the same for my friends. Don't take them for granted.
Thanks for sharing. Went there today for my birthday because of your post. The food and ambiance did not disappoint! We even sat at the same table as you lol
I haven’t seen you in my feed in months!!! Hi!!! Glad to see you again and excited to see that you have sponsors! Yay! That’s exciting! I love that you’re still doing your thing consistently! I just checked to see everything I’ve missed. Going to binge watch. I’m in Vancouver now too! Sometimes when I go out to eat at a buffet I think about you. Hearing you compliment the staff in my mind. I love that about you! Keep up the awesomeness!
Glad you’re in Vancouver and it’s nice to feast that of Buffet from time to time. There aren’t too many buffets in Vancouver, but just keeping my eye out as well.
Thank you so much and great to connect with Nicole and James as well. We did notice that we made Nicole out to be a compulsive gambler though. I think that’s half the fun.😁
It’s a pretty nice buffet, there’s less variety than the typical Vegas buffets, but every dish was done well. Plus the à la cart dish included set it over the top and I would highly recommend the crabcakes Benedict

So nice to see James and esp Nicole. Your video celebrating her birthday at the Greek place is one of my faves. That French toast looks great! (I know bananas, ha, ha). That was a lovely restaurant. Like the booths, plates, water glasses. Love an old school type steak place. Happy Sunday from rainy Oregon.

Love to go to Vancouver and Canada! The nature out there looks amazing. I know a Buddhist monk from Canada. He said most times of the year the climate is super cold. I think the lifestyle in Canada would be somewhat similar to Australia. Love your buffet vids Tim. I watch then while I'm having my lunch. Double drool 🤤! Love from Melbourne ❤.
The West coast isn't cold. I live in Victoria, BC and the winters are very mild. Vancouver is just a ferry ride away (but Vancouver gets far more rain and yucky weather than Victoria does).

Tim, another amazing buffet with benefits. Something to remember the next time I have any type of bun, I can make it into a sandwich of my choice. Nice to see your friends again.❤
45 per person. about the same as Brazilian steak house's lunch. both have high quality beef. but this one has more varieties of food. definitely want to try it out next time I go to Vancouver.
I've Been to Vancouver a few times and always had a great time. This Buffet looked like it had quality without the Vegas style selection. Which is fine so you can get more of your favorites. Welcome home Tim 😊
Thank you so much and nice to be home. Very enjoyable and it’s actually a fairly good deal because the prime rib dinner alone would be more than the cost of the Buffet😋
Tim, have you ever considered visiting Barbados with Nicole? I visited back in the late 1980s, and I would say it is very difficult to find a more welcoming paradise anywhere.
OK... those slices of prime rib and sassague is tiny. The prime rib cut was almost balona thin... like from a deli slicer. They need to give you a 1/4" slice at least. Good offertings for $65, but cheap on portions.
That’s Vancouver for you. Overpriced and largely disappointing. There was a brilliant buffet each Sunday (with live jazz) at the Granville Island hotel for $25 (2007-2009). But that didn’t survive. Good food and memories however.
What a typical Vancouver disaster. Marshmallow and cookies as dessert options. Christ. These people are so cynical they never even cared once about their business.
Yet another great video and so glad you had your friends to join you the crab Benedict looked amazing I tell all the men Happy Father's Day have a great day ❤
Tim, Nice Buffet. Very tasty looking food. Today I dined at Zhenders in Frankenmuth Michigan. Excellent cuts of Rare & Fatty Prime Rib served by the very friendly n funny Chef Jason. Miranda my waitress was very attentive. Other offering was very tasty breaded shrimp, reknown Fried Chicken, Pork loin, mashed potatoes, Butter Noodles, Signature Dressing n House Chicken gravy. Salads. Dessert table that is outstanding. All Staff a joy to work with. Kudos. Fly in sometime Tim to give it a try. From the 👍. Best
Thank you so much for sharing your experience and that sounds like an amazing place! Zhenders sounds phenomenal and noted it down. Thank you so much for the suggestion and you had me at fried chicken and prime rib. The butter noodles is just icing on the cake so to speak.😋
I assume you can get just the buffet? You don't have to order anything off the menu? If so, I would go for more slices of meat off the buffet, especially the prime rib and the honey-glazed ham. The food looked very good.
I should’ve mentioned, that the buffet also includes an entrée off the menu. I have noticed some people just enjoying the buffet and taking their entrées to go kind of nice to have two meals in one.
Have you been to the buffet at Bruno hotel in Richmond? It’s similar to this one-limited selection but high quality food. We really enjoyed it. We’ll definitely try this one out. Thanks!
I should try this one, thanks for the video! Have you tried Fufu cafe on west Broadway yet? Great brunch place. Close to it is also Salmon and Bannock which is an amazing indigenous restaurant!
It's always the potatoes that get Tim! Those fries add a $15 upcharge to the bill.. Anyone else I'd call them crazy, but Tim could put down an extra $100 for potatoes and I wouldn't even be surprised! 😂💕
Good eye! Those were probably one of the more expensive french fries I’ve had… Breakfast was just missing some thing without fried potatoes and they were very enjoyable but pricey
I remember going to Buffets and getting a proper slice of Prime Rib. I mean when someone asks for a nice slice of Prime I don't think he means a deli-thin piece of the meat. I should think almost 1/3" if not a true 1/2" slice of meat. Otherwise you have to keep going back and forth. Things really aren't how they used to be. But goodness the meat was beautiful. 😊

It's a dare, cuz I don't believe great buffets live here.
I would love to take up the challenge although I suspect it wouldn’t be too difficult. Heard such great things about north / South Carolina…. Will keep an eye on vacation days to hopefully plan a trip
Everything delicious ❤ I mean, I was literally drooling. What was that yellow pastry you went for on the first plate? Was that a lemon something ? Yummy !!
It was quite a nice experience and the roasts were superb. The funny thing is I couldn’t figure out what the fruit was on that yellow pastry. Still a mystery.😉

Wow that place is a paradise for someone like me who eats alot of meat daily and the price is very reasonable too.

@@therealm4944 true, about the food waste. My Parents used to take us to a beautiful buffet when we were kids. It was delicious. But I do remember throwing food away. When I see Tim graciously finish eating almost everything that he took I get a twinge of guilt. Tho I don't remember ever not finishing the Prime Rib. Even as a kid I appreciated the flavor of a medium rare slice of Prime. It was always so so good.

Go Riders! by the way, the Grey Cup is in BC this year!
