Good to see Nora's get some well deserved love. And like the man says, it's a locals favorite. It has a large seating capacity, yet it's often booked full. More old school than many of the hotter newer spots, but reasonably priced and the food is outstanding in quality and generous in portions.
Great collab! Been to Nora's, excellent marinara and the bone in veal chop parm was way good as well as the fried calamari. Wonderful patio seating outside. Bootleggers was up thier. Excellent fried calamari and the veal marsala was yummy. We will keep the other 3 spots on the must try list while in Vegas !!! Thanks ❤❤
Yes, definitely give them a try! And, consider there Sunday AYCE buffet...it's very good. We did a review of them a while back: ua-cam.com/video/DjJu_I9PgaQ/v-deo.html ENJOY!!
Most of these places have been on my radar, but I just haven't gotten around to them yet. Glad to know they're worth a try. One of my go to places is Milano in Town Square. They're carbonara is fantastic and actually made with guanciale.
Just ate at Bootlegger's for the first time last night. Seafood fra Diavolo was good but the 'hot' spice level may be hot if you think mayonnaise is spicy. Great flavor but no heat.
Ha! Right, Gerber's Spicy Mayonnaise, lol. What I do these days is bring red pepper flakes and Tabasco Habanero with me just in case the restaurant is lacking in the spice department. Thanks for watching, commenting, and supporting our channel, 😁😁
I would like to see the Buddy V brunch/ buffet. I’ve heard many positive things about it and for 55$ that’s a great price. Ty for another great review.😊
Talk about strange….we arrived on Friday and went yesterday to Buddy V’s. Please make sure you go!!! It was fantastic. Great quality and you absolutely must try the lemon blueberry pancakes! They were the best I’ve had. Meatballs, Hoboken chicken and dessert is a must!!! Worth every penny. Go right at opening and ask to sit at the window by deserts. We are going again next week.
Thanks for the corroboration! We love that buffet, and, funny thing, we ALWAYS sit by the window by the desserts, lol. That's the best seat in the house...for the sweet tooths among us, 😋. And yes, the lemon blueberry pancakes are fantastic...one of my favorite items there. Also the Caesar salad, especially the polenta croutons, delicious!
Went to Carbones last week. Had to wait about an hour for a seat at the bar. No big deal as it was entertaining people watching. Nice to see women wearing dressy dresses with heels. Ordered the veal parmigiana and it was the best! Also the spicy rigatoni was delish! But prices were pretty steep compared to your top five. Curious what your thoughts are about Carbones? Next time in Vegas I will definitely go to Ferraro’s.
Thanks for the feedback! Carbone's sounds great. Haven't been there yet. We try to review more off strip places...especially with the hotels charging locals for parking these days, 😔. Well, definitely give Ferraro's a try...you're going to love it! Thanks for supporting our channel, 😁
Yes, we were trying to stick to the off-strip joints this time as well as focus on places we hear about all the time from friends and food blogs. The only exception was Buddy V's which is "on-strip" but we've heard about it a lot due to their Sunday AYCE Buffet. As for Mother Wolf, I'm not familiar with it and will check it out...thanks for the tip!
Hi Chef, everything looked so delicious! The cannelloni I would definitely try. Do you still work as a chef? Love your work, take take to you both. Ps: everytime I use oregano now, I call it “ Mrs Carlucci” lol
Thank you! Yes, lot's of delicious food at these Italian restaurants. As for me, no, not cheffing these days except at home, 😉. HA! Yes, poor Mrs. Carlucci, I'm sure she's still clutching her bottle of oregano, lol. Thanks for watching and commenting, 😁😁
Oh could you plz review Guy Savoys Caesar’s it’s damn expensive but I wanna see it regardless I’ll send you a check to eat there 😂 kiddin I can’t afford a meatball there
@LetsEatVegas well, the care you take with the details really shows. I appreciate your patience with traditional dishes being bungled drives me nuts, but you stay kind and professional.
These are mostly italian-american, not truly italian, but good review! That being said, try Mother Wolf and Scarpetta - both of them are more authentic and classically italian.
Thanks for watching...well, our choices for restaurants to include came from word of mouth, Yelp, and suggestions from our viewers. And, we were also leaning to 'off strip' places. Interesting you mention Sinatra's though...Tina Sinatra was a regular at our restaurant in LA and she would always tell us that her father would have loved our place.
So far no place in America tops east coast Italian. I ate at Ferraros about five years ago and I thought it was good but not great.I don’t know why but Las Vegas and florida just can’t one up the New York/ New Jersey area when it comes to Italian.
Italian food in Italy is amazing; Italian-American in the US is ... OK. Nora's was very mediocre Italian-American cuisine. I would never go back, nor would I recommend anyone spend their hard-earned money there.
Apparently you didn’t go to the best Italian restaurants in America. I went to Italy expecting to be overwhelmed but I found their food only good . Maybe it’s because I am used to Americanized Italian.
@Abunai50 I went to Nora's and had a very mediocre meal. Authentic Italian or not, had the food been good, I would have enjoyed it. Honestly, for me @LetsEatVegas lost credibility with his recommendation of Nora's. It's just not good.
No, our restaurant was a little bit of everything, but mostly Italian, French, German, and Southwest. With the exception of the bread, we made everything in-house: sauces, dressings, condiments (5 types of ketchup, 6 types of mustard, pickles), ice creams, desserts, gnocchi, fries, etc. It was a lot of fun!
Not true. Their quantities and prices are fine. I think maybe you have them confused with Esther's Kitchen. But, if you want, try Buddy's AYCE Sunday brunch. You can eat 'til you explode. Thanks for watching and commenting!!
No, haven't been there. Impossible to get to every place in Vegas! But, thanks for the heads up, we'll look into it. Thanks for watching and commenting, 😁
@@LetsEatVegas Not having Panevino is also questionable. Bootleggers isn’t bad, don’t get me wrong, but they’re aren’t anywhere close to being a top 10 place on any list in my opinion! A very nice neighborhood place Like Mezzo or Grape Vine. I mean even Ventano’s would’ve been a better choice!

I know, right! So many great options! 😋😋 Thanks for watching and commenting, 😁😁
i will try them all....
Enjoy!! 😁😁😋😋
Oh damnnn. This made me hungry!
Same here!! I'm going to one of these places this weekend for sure, 😋😋🍝🍝
Thanks for the video. Been to two out of the five you featured and enjoyed the cuisine. Must try the other three someday.
Thanks for watching and commenting. Hope you get to the other three soon...you're going to love them, 😋😋😁😁

I loved this review. Thanks for choosing to review the same dishes at each spot. Very informative. YUM. Karla in Cali.
Thank you, Karla! We loved MAKING this review, lol, such great food, 😋😋😁😁. Thanks for watching, 💖💖
Knocked it out of the part with this review! So happy you went to Ferraro which is on my list for Osso Bucco and Coniglio… Fabulous review as always
Thanks, Sandy!! Yes...the Osso was AMAZING. You definitely don't want to miss it, 😋😋. Thanks for supporting our channel, 😁😁

Thanks for the video. I’m guessing you were trying to stay “off-strip”?
Curious your thoughts on Mother Wolf; albeit described as Roman cuisine.

Hmm, well, this is America, lol. Anyway, thanks for the info; we'll look into those places!
Ferraros isn't authentic?
I know!? Ferraro's has top honors from an Italian 'Michelin Star' equivalent but somehow they aren't authentic?? Makes no sense.
How do you not have Sinatra on that list best Italian and their Sinatra Smash best bourbon drink ever
Thanks for watching...well, our choices for restaurants to include came from word of mouth, Yelp, and suggestions from our viewers. And, we were also leaning to 'off strip' places. And ask for waiter Eric he knows me

Sinatra
Ah, you got the reference, 😁. I was wondering if anyone would notice!

Apparently you didn’t go to the best Italian restaurants in America. I went to Italy expecting to be overwhelmed but I found their food only good . Maybe it’s because I am used to Americanized Italian.
That’s a stuffy response. The best food doesn’t necessarily come from the origin country. You lack depth.
@Abunai50 I went to Nora's and had a very mediocre meal. Authentic Italian or not, had the food been good, I would have enjoyed it. Honestly, for me @LetsEatVegas lost credibility with his recommendation of Nora's. It's just not good.
How many times have you been to Nora's?
@LetsEatVegas just once but ordered 2 apps, 2 mains, 2 desserts. Not one item was even as good as TJ's frozen food. No reason to go back.
Seriously? Buddy V's isn't one of the two best Italian restaurants at the Venetian, much less Vegas as a whole.
And what makes the other Italian restaurants at the Venetian better than Buddy V's?
Wait I thought you had a Mexican restaurant?
No, our restaurant was a little bit of everything, but mostly Italian, French, German, and Southwest. With the exception of the bread, we made everything in-house: sauces, dressings, condiments (5 types of ketchup, 6 types of mustard, pickles), ice creams, desserts, gnocchi, fries, etc. It was a lot of fun!

@@LetsEatVegas prices are outrageous and quantities are small, I ate there. And won't go back. Too pricey.
OK, so, where is it a better deal? I'd love to check 'em out!
