"To find one that is honest and loving and strong is so rare now". I agree with you, but I had two loving parents that lasted for 68 years together, they got marry when she was 18 years old, and my dad was 40. It wasn't easy but they manage to stay together. I think that relationships were bad in the old days and women were unable to leave so I think its a good thing that they can leave now with financial independance, less taboo to divorce, women's rights etc so stop thinking it was better in the past.

It's possible but not always true. Depends on the dynamic between the one who is cheating and their mate. Maybe the love they had is no longer there and they later meet their true love... I've seen that happen. There are sexual flings and there are real heart and soul relationships.

I married right out of high school to an older man. I learned soon after we married that he liked looking at women and his motto was, "Men will be men." We kept up a ficade of a marriage for almost a decade until I grew up and left him. He remarried but I vowed I would NEVER marry again. I have been single half of my life and I am happy and content. Marriage is overated these days but after the honeymoon is over, everything goes down hill fast. The magic fades away and divorce and remarriage for some is a never ending cycle. We live and should learn from the mistakes that we make and I have.

When cheating happens that phrase "Till death do us part" takes on a whole different meaning. The saddest part is that the cheater devastates families and children. They go on in their selfish fantasy. The "death" is of their honor, moral compass and respect. Things they will never regain. In effect, they have killed off a part of themselves that they will never have again. How anyone can be happy after destroying another is pure evil.

This is so true. One of my older sisters was engaged to the greatest guy, ever. He was loved by every single one of us. He was our brother, my parents looked at him like a son, everybody loved Ken. After 10 yrs, she cheated on him. It devastated every single one of us. I remember crying so hard, I grieved over that relationship ending, we all did. I feel bad saying this, however, my sister got her karma for that one. She was a beauty Queen, all the guys wanted her. She did that to him 30yrs ago, she hasn’t had a real relationship since, only guys that used her. She gained lots of weight & has been completely alone for the last 20yrs. I feel sorry for her, I do, she’s my sister & I love her. However, she shattered his heart. He found happiness, got married, and this was a little bit more karma that was rubbed in her face every single day, she ended up working with his wife without even knowing it for a couple of years, she found out at a Xmas party & they were “work friends”. They continued working together a few years after she found out. She got to see how happy they were. Him & his wife both passed away, a couple months apart from covid. I’m for certain he’s in Heaven! My sister still sits at home, alone & depressed. I was 20 when that happened, Their relationship taught me a lot of lessons.

In some cases there is forgiving and letting go …. It takes courage .
Sex for men means sex and very often they feel sorry and guilty afterwards
So if it happens only once and can be a “ hard lesson “ , how love can overcome this crisis … then one can maybe forgive , let it go and go a more mature level of marriage . But it’s also normal it’s hard to forgive , trust and overcome such a betrayal

So true. I thought about this myself, once you cross that threshold, you cannot put the toothpaste back in the tube. And even if one could "get away with it", it will always be on the conscience. I believe there is a judgment after death, and I want to cross over knowing I was faithful to my wife with no shame or regrets. The Bible calls it the "pleasure of sin", but it's only for a "season". It's a dead end road, physically and spiritually.
1 Corinthians 6 KJV 18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

You have to be stong to move on with your life. You don't have to Forgive. It's holding a Grudge, Anger and Not Moving on that's not Healthy-a waste of energy. Sadly, people have been conditioned to believe _(religion)_ that if they don't force themselves to forgive _(fake it)_ they won't move on. Not True at all. You can release it all without ever giving that person another thought again, move forward, and just be Cordial "if" or when you run into each other at Social, Family Or Life events.

In one particular scene, a guy (friend) was happy that marriage counseling was helping him and his wife...so, hence, a hug from both friends was used to show how great it is when things work out. Don't leave your spouse hanging in concern. Just sayin' 😊

All those years he saw her as a sitting duck, naive, and a 'take care of everyone else kind of person (woman). These "affairs" for him were easy to come by. This is why in the end she said it was her, too...not just him. I think some women play the unsuspecting wife because they don't want to be called paranoid and such. The husband’s reaction was good and I think realistic he went through several tactics to win her over shifting as he realize the depth of evidence that she had I think she mentioned the little black book the references names so he couldn’t say it was just this one time it’ll never happen again but he was caught red-handed serial cheater and a serial liar. If only we all had that much evidence & certainty - whether we decided to confront them with it or not at least we have peace of mind & know who we are dealing with. Attention all you guys out there who breach your wedding vows, cheating on a woman who loves you, trusts you, is often the mother of your children. You may think you are getting away with it, the guilt that will permeate your thoughts never goes away.
Your cheating hurts so many people whom you claim to love. It also hurts you though you might not realize it immediately.
Many people will automatically blame the woman you cheated with, however, if it wasn't her it would be someone else.
Do the world a favor, don't cheat on your wife. If you want out of the marriage, leave, get a legal divorce, then, stay away from married women. Many guys who had cheated during their marriage will gravitate toward married women. The remind him of who he had, then threw the relationship away through selfish actions.
This is a sore, hot button for sure. The solution is very simple. Don't cheat.

*Cheaters always go raw and never use protection.* Never lose your cool or risk sacrificing your health or your freedom over a cheater. Losing a relationship with a cheater is a gain, not a loss. You should always promptly dump/divorce a cheater and move on with life. It’s better to alone than with someone who wants someone else. People say “it’s not that simple, what about kids, time spent together, etc ”… *it is that simple.* Desperate people who are afraid to be alone will always make excuses imaginable in order to remain with a cheater.
Cheaters don’t deserve confrontation or closure, just show them evidence and leave without a conversation.

Love is a dream, dream is an alarm, marriage is a nightmare. I've been there, done that..... A very painful phase of life🥵

Not for everyone. I know people who have been married fir decades in good marriages.
It didn't work out for me, but I didn't have a good role model and growing up in the 'free love' generation didn't help.
