Good info, thanks. We’re going to be retiring to Europe in a couple years and I’ve got the iTrek 11 and my wife has the 9. We’re thinking of bringing them to our new country but not sure now…
hard to say. Never seen it person. If I was asked to guess, Id say "probably, not." Its right on the edge with the Itrek 9,... I kinda think you would have trouble with the boat, two drives, and two chairs, even split across two bags, but maybe...Are there any videos of the DUO on youtube these days?
@@fishhunter1566 There are some videos of the duo on UA-cam, even one by Hobie on how to fold it. You are probably right if the duo is borderline making it. The duo's hull looks pretty fat when folded. But the hull in its own bag may make the weight limit at 45lbs.
@@truedox yeah i think you have to try it if no one else has...somehow it seems to grown over time? I travel with just the hull, chair, pedals and rudder (no pumps, no paddle) and it barely fits in the bag and weights 48-49 lbs..
Loved this one! I need to get me one of these
Looks like you also did some iguana hunting off the iTrek. That alone would make for some good UA-cam material!
hope to do this some day.

you could fly the 9 there at < 50lbs. I'm sure you could get the 11 there as well, but would probably have to pay extra...
Do you see the Itrek Duo being air travel capable? I am thinking the hull can go in one checked container and the rest of the equipment in another.
