You know, you can just... catch the traders. And throw them in a viewing cage set up on top of a 3x3 platform with a hole in the middle from where you can climb in. And do the trading from there, without the merchants taking up preacious base pal slots, while production is in full swing. Also, merchants with different colored clothin ghave different trades. I recommend catching multiple. 1 green for ammo (maybe even more, from different locations), at least 1, more like 2 different red ones for whatever pal based resources you might need (except pal fluids sadly, for those, I've yet to find any method that's faster than riding my Rayhound around in the Gobfin turf). As for heat/cold resistance, the basic shirts you can buy in duneshelter provide 1-1 each respectively. I got a cold resist one with a "+1" at the end, that gave 2 levels of heat resistance in one of the dungeons in the volcanic area, and a shirt wth a +2 (actually, 2 of them, just in separatedungeon runs) for cold resistance, in the big arctic island (north west island) For filling up the feedbox's extra slots, I'd recommend putting cotton candy in the extra slots. It's not used in any cooking recipes, so you won't accidentally take them out for crafting a bunch of cake, or whatever else foodstuff you might want to make. To get the cotton candy, put a woolipop in a ranch. Pretty handy little tricks though, so people can make great use of them. Oh, also, for dungeons, if you just can't seem to get a boss you'd like, you don't have to fight them. If you have a mountable pal with you that is. Just go to the gate behind the boss room, preferably at the edge, and try throwing your pal on the other side. If it spawns in on the other side, you can just press the mount button, and you can go thrugh the otherwise not open door, straight to the chests. As I usually use my afore mentioned Rayhound for fast runs through dungeons, and I just pick up whatever I find in chests, maybe sometimes mine out some resource nodes if I need something specific, and keep on moving. Really, I usually only try up to 5 times for reseting dungeon bosses, if I can't find something good with that many tries, I just skip the gate, and go for the loot.
A tip I discovered recently regarding repairing - Having repair kits in your base inventory allows handiwork pals to automatically repair damaged structures for you. However when there is nothing to repair, they will take the kits out of inventory and leave them on the floor continuously. So best done after a raid and removing from base inventory when repairs are all finished
This would work for anything, but for my defensive walls after a few raids I'll go to the damaged ones and just dismantle them, get all the resources back and place a new one at full health.
Pretty sure it's cuz the pals consider it a priority with the handiwork skill and two go for it simultaneously. Once the first one gets there, the subsequent one will drop the kit and progress towards the next priority task. Haven't heard anyone experiment respective to the repair kit annoyance
You can do the same thing with control clicking too. If you need like 15 of something but you have 1000 in the box it is easier than halving the stack by shift clicking over and over
I’m subscribing for 2 reasons. 1) very helpful for a nov like myself 2) I got excited everytime you entered a cave because as an audio file I loved you changing your mic effect to reflect you going into the caves Great video
Awesome! I love the Palworld uploads! Edit: The lvl on the Jolthog Cryst does matter, if you put a lvl 2 it will extend the timer much more on the food inside the fridge or cooler box. For example a lvl 1 will add say 100 minutes where a lvl 2 will add 300 minutes, these are not exact numbers just an example.
i think the level of cooling is stupid, since when they stop cooling it, it just goes back to 5 mins, so having higher cooling level doesn’t do much, same with electric generating
@en20drayt87 That's why there are Pals with pure Ice stat. That way all they do is cool and nothing else until they go to sleep. If there is Dark / Ice Pal with only cooling that would be the ideal Pal for a fridge.
@@Tibor716 There is a Pal that has Dark/Ice. Vanwyrm cryst which is the counterpart/variant of the Vanwyrm is the name. I personally use it for my fridge.
SO many great tips man. I always love your 7 days videos because they're too the point, organized and very helpful. This was everything I expected and gave me some GREAT time saving tips for my Palworld playthrough. Keep up the great work!
at little tip i learned is that putting the ranch not into my mining bases helps with transportation since it seems that your transport pals collect every ranch item seperatly which even with a chest directly at the ranch leads to a loot of not transportet stuff, even being away does not change the problem. another tip is if you build loging or stone site place them into a 2x2x2 box with a closed door or no door, this prevents your pals from getting stuck on top of the site (works with other buildings like silo´s etc too).
You deserve so much more attention pal, it was so entertaining just to watch and listen, not to mention learning tricks. Loved how you swapped echo voice effect between overworld and dungeon. All the best ❤
Excellent tips list! The hotkeys section is I think the one people are most unaware of. A feature I'm not sure is covered in most videos is connected to the F to view pal info you mentioned (specifically about skill swapping). This can be done for your party pals of course but not many people seem to realise that you can hot-swap skills in the field so if you tend to run the same team of favourite pals for everything, giving them some off-element skill fruits can help you optimize battles a little without having to go home and swap pals. I've been enjoying your play through a lot - thanks for the useful entertainment!
I absolutely *_LOVE_* the Jolthog Cryst! An absolutely adorable little hedgehog of ice that, like his standard electric counterpart, becomes an elementally charged contact grenade when you make the associated Pal gear for it.
By far the best palworld tips/tricks video I've seen so far. You deserve every bit of success and then some more. Keep up the great work. (The echo in the caves was a chef's kiss little detail).
Huge tip for carry items! Make sure in settings you have death penalty set to not drop any items when you die. Then build the biggest storage you can right next to your palbox, then you can gather as many items as you want, when you've got everything you want hit start and click respawn, when you die respawn at your main base and you barely have to walk a few steps to dump everything in. Yesterday I was carrying something like 70,000 weight, was in the middle of nowhere and all I had to do was respawn from the menu and it was all in my base in seconds. Have fun!
Pal condensing will also allow you to get level 5 skills (kindling, cooling, etc.) from level 4 creatures. For example, take Frostallion all the way to 4 star (condense 112 Frostallions into 1) and it will have level 5 cooling. For the ultimate min-max! (Anubis level 5 handiwork with some gold skills is pretty insane!)
6:56 I go back to the starting area and cull chickens. The chicken meal is easy to mass produce and gives the largest boost to San. Also, pancakes help reduce San loss. My cake factory can easily make pancakes.
I learned that cakes don't spoil in the breeding pen. I just put them in there and the timer stays at 20:00. Of course if you have breeding pairs they will obviously consume them
Shift and right click will place items into a storage container if there's not a stack in said container. Also if a stack is full, the "R" quick stack will exchange the full stack for the amount in your inventory.
Use the defensive walls and gate around the logging and mine pit to keep pals from farming rock and tree when you want them to do other tasks. Need to leave room on the sides around it so they don’t farm through the wall and can’t reach the pits. Then when you need rock or tree just open the gate for them.
Just in case, an addition I would make is, you get a higher percentage chance to capture Pals that have a status effect. When I leave base I usually take with me a Beacon that has a low level attack for fire and electric and I carry a poison bow. Also when riding a beacon it changes my damage type to electric but that stacks with poison not in place of.
A good tip is to always carry 5 wood and 5 stone and if you take a long exploration trip and have a bunch of edible pal parts in your inventory and food, you can quickly build a storage box anywhere, sort your inventory to regen the expiration timer then just disassemble the box taking back the wood and stone and continue exploring.
Or you can just push sort in your bag and it will refresh the timer for food in your bag without you building a storage box so no need for the wood or stone
@@georgebuck9124 you cant sort in your menu, for some reason when you play on Xbox (controller) or on steam deck, which is the experience I have, you can only sort when opening an external storage like a box or locker thats why I said to carry stone and wood. Having that on hand allows you to quickly build a box to sort.
@@MRDUALITY maybe my game is bugged then because I’m literally playing right now and can go in my bag and sort, and it refreshes the food in my book bag
on your palbox is a ball, this is the front. the other side is the back. you always teleport in on the back side of the palbox. build the biggest capacity chest you can as near to the back side as it will allow for easier transporting stuff between bases. Load it up when getting ready, then grab it all in one go, then teleport, then dump in next chest.
A couple things to add to your tips. I have found the best food for bast pals is Pizza. I have seen a lot of people say salad because it gives a 30% work speed buff to your pals. Thats good but Pizza gives the same buff and gives a buff that slows their hunger rate. So throw a base wide pizza party! Also at the fisherman's warf if there is another merchant there that sells high quality pal oil. That is the ingredient required to make polymer which you use a lot of at the end game. You can go farm it but just selling some nails and buying what you need is a lot more time efficient.
the reason i still use salad is because it doesn't overlap in resources with cake, so i don't have to worry about sizing it up and I always just make max of each. all my workers run fast so going to eat doesn't take long, I afk at bases anyway when I'm not playing so as long as they are sane every day starts with many 9999 stacks
17:00 The second merchant (level 40 with machine gun) is hard to kill as low level so one simple trick is while he's standing still you can build hanging trap right next to his foot and as he get stuck in trap you can build campfire under him and wait for him to die it will take only 2 mins and you will get 10-14k gold from him i personally do this every time i log into game😊
I HIGHLY suggest saving up 100 Dog Coins and speaking to the merchant at the Abandoned Church, he sells a special accessory shirt that gives heat AND cold resistance. He also sells a new accessory slot for another 100 Dog Coin.
Galeclaw with runner, legend and swift make the grapple glide soooooooo much faster. Grapple off your slide makes you whip much faster. Bushi is one of the best Combat pals.
If you like grappling there's a way to gain a decent amount of height with it. what you need is a cliff face or wall above you then grapple up at a slight angle and cancel then rotate before you reach the top.
Capturing merchants, and bringing them to your base, reminds me of Morrowind. I used to charm the Skamp and Mudcrab, and bring them back to my house. Has anyone else, done this?
@@JohnyFinsas someone who has only played a bit of morrowind it’s insane that you can do that, probably inspired some devs to implement mechanics that we see now for quest items being largely unsellable
2:22 instead of using the grapple you can open the inventory and click on a heavy item and hold it as if your moving it into a chest. It will sit on your mouse then you can move around as if you are not having it in your inventory. Dont think they patched that yet, havent played in a while. Need some bugfixes first. Game works nearly perfectly.
You can also sleep on your bed with your dead pal in your party as long as it’s night time. I can also confirm at 21:00 that if you do have a lvl2 + lvl1 thermal shirt with the opposite element armor definitely works without constant swapping
I did that till I got +2 shirts(level 3) on snowy mountain chests. Was surprisingly easy to get early and just avoid fights. Going heat armor with cold undershirt is amazing cause you now have room for defense pendant with no swaps, which finally got me out of instakill territory with hard mode bosses. They really should make cold resist armor, at the very least the legendary ones resist 3 cold, cause I’m sorta gridlocked into heat only armor with level 3 cold shirt and it looks terrible compared to the cold armor. Legendary fire should instead prevent ignition above lava so it could still have a solid use for vulcanoes, if you really needed it.
You can put the merchants in the viewing cages and there's a trick using a bed you can use to get inside to trade with them from below or you can climb down into them by putting a wall next to them but it's a tad buggy to get back out. Also if you use cotton candy instead of honey in the food trough you won't accidentally use it up making cakes.
For instantly healing pals, you can also put them in the viewing cage and it heals them right away then put them back in your party. Also great for boss base battles when you use your base pals to fight bosses. Just send them all in and boom all healed
It is better to use cotton candy to fill up feed boxes than honey. If you go to cook a bunch of cakes, it could use the honey that is blocking spaces. No cooking recipes use cotton candy.
There's an unlock at 15 that let's you set jobs for your pals. I don't think it allowed you to control your base pals until a patch after your videos. Any chance you'll play palworld again?
Combining two of your tips. Vanwyrm Cryst is the best cooler Pal because since he's a dark pal he only leaves the cooler to eat. He does have transporting but he doesn't help with that. Also, if you kill the black market merchant but were trying to capture him and are not on a server you can log out and back and he'll return, same with the traders so the one in the small settlement will be back next time you go there.
23:20 Your breeding base is in the same place mine is lol For some reason, the entire time I've been there (a very very long time) I've never had a raid spawn there for some reason. They always go for my ore base (which they can't infiltrate at all).
The ability to continuously halve the stack by repeat the shift clicking or x clicking was very very useful! Is there a way to take just one on an Xbox controller I know on PC there is a button.
For instant ressurect your Pals you can also build the View Cage (or whatever it is called). Put the Pals in there and rhey are instantly alive. Just build it on a high position where the space it needs doesn't matter
The going to sleep too early thing... I was farming materials for hot tubs etc because my pals were going crazy any time I was at the base. That was it, 100%. 😂
When taking the grappling guns in and out to reset them u could also just right click on them and right click them in the inventory to reequip them. Its much faster
While the shirt tip is a solid one, you do gain flat defense and HP by making the cold or heat resist armor types of each tier. Short of having the schematics for making incredible default armor you should definitely be wearing one or the other resistant types as soon as you unlock their tech.
Lol I have issues with the Condenser too, so I made a room for it that's closed off from my pals. Also makes me feel less bad about doing it if they can't see me doing it...same with butchering, I go outside my base's walls to do that.
Me and my friend have a problem with palworld, it crashes very often, also can’t enter caves for more than 5 minutes before the game crashes, do you know how to fix this?
who to pick? smaller model that doesn't get stuck, always, in every situation, for both work and fights. there is a hat from merchants schematic that gives you +1 heat resistance - explorer cap. cotton candy is safer to use than honey for nonrot food to block feedbox slots bc it doesn't overlap with cake
My other bases were build only for Ore and Coal farming. Those bases does not even have any Pals working. They are just there for me to travel and transport those minerals to my main base after i mine using digtoise.
Lyleen Noct is the exclusion to the sleep at night rule. Also, a very important thing for mid-end game is to butcher the Alpha's for a second chance at their loot, specifically blueprints for gear. Edit: There's something I've heard no one mention in any video. Feed your party pals, or even yourself stat boosting foods. Examples of instances in which this is useful: Just before bosses. Speeding up their task in base. Or for yourself if you're doing a self centered attack build.
Money has never really been my problem. It is always crafting the top 2 tier Pal Balls and missiles. I buy shotgun ammo (because that is the only legendary gun I have) and sometimes to save time I will buy eggs, milk, or wheat if I am running low. I also might grab some bones. But I always have enough from selling non legendary schematics, extra t-shirts, junk ammo, and all the gems I get. I typically float 300-400K gold. I sometimes sell Pals if my box is getting full, just because I am lazy and have not crafted a butcher knife. The biggest thing for transportation is turning down the stamina loss for the players and Pals then find a flier with swift. Jetragon of course is the best, but he takes a bit to get the first time. I wish you could boost speed with the Statue using Pal souls. Speaking of that those upgrades are worth doing but save them until you have a really good one of the high end Pals you want more end game, likely after breeding up as good as you can get. You want 10 small Pal Souls, 6 medium, and 6 large to max out the bonus at 30% in whatever states you boost (defense, attack, HP, and work speed). A 4 star Anubis at level 50 with Artisan Series, Work Slave, and Swift with +30% work speed is going to be CRAZY fast at crafting stuff for you. I never was able to breed anything perfect, but I usually managed 3 out of the 4 I wanted. Having Jet Dragon with Runner, Muscle Head, Ferocious, and Burly Body though is pretty good with 4 star and +30% to Attack, Defense, and HP gave me something like 2000 attack. If I could boost speed 30% too with souls.... 🤪 Also higher star Pals do not drop more in the corrals.
12:00 * Facepalm * IF ONLY I KNEW THIS SOONER GOD Sometimes I really fell stupid, Then again that is the fun in this game discovering new things every day
I build single square towers 20 levels high to prevent pals from physically going to bed and they sleep at their work station avoiding pathing issues while still getting sleep bonus.
Don't know if this is useful, but there is actually at least one non-dark pal, that I know of, which will work through the night also. That'll be the Lovander. There might be other ones too, but they'll probably have to be ones that don't go to sleep as wild pals either
Bro, your echo effect in your voice when you were in the cave was top-notch fun. ❤
hah glad you enjoyed that bit :)
Agreed. Very impressed by the extra touch.

Capturing merchants, and bringing them to your base, reminds me of Morrowind. I used to charm the Skamp and Mudcrab, and bring them back to my house. Has anyone else, done this?
That would have saved my first playthrough of morrowind, where I accidentally sold the story line item for the main quest to the merchant
@@JohnyFinsas someone who has only played a bit of morrowind it’s insane that you can do that, probably inspired some devs to implement mechanics that we see now for quest items being largely unsellable
Love the reverb in the caves
Love the cave voice Ecko great video
2:22 instead of using the grapple you can open the inventory and click on a heavy item and hold it as if your moving it into a chest. It will sit on your mouse then you can move around as if you are not having it in your inventory. Dont think they patched that yet, havent played in a while. Need some bugfixes first. Game works nearly perfectly.
How do you do it on xbox? The hold/carry
Cant help you with controller, sorry@@jonarosen
Informative, thanks! 😃
Oh, i was wondering what was happening to my honey, thanks !
27:36 what was that pal in the back doing 😂😂
i am so glad im not the only one that noticed that XD
There's an unlock at 15 that let's you set jobs for your pals. I don't think it allowed you to control your base pals until a patch after your videos.
Any chance you'll play palworld again?
Combining two of your tips. Vanwyrm Cryst is the best cooler Pal because since he's a dark pal he only leaves the cooler to eat. He does have transporting but he doesn't help with that. Also, if you kill the black market merchant but were trying to capture him and are not on a server you can log out and back and he'll return, same with the traders so the one in the small settlement will be back next time you go there.
25:49 cotton candy works pretty good too. 👍
23:20 Your breeding base is in the same place mine is lol For some reason, the entire time I've been there (a very very long time) I've never had a raid spawn there for some reason. They always go for my ore base (which they can't infiltrate at all).
There's a shirt i got from jetdragon drop that gives heat/cold both lv 2. I wear that with palmetal armor and have no temp gage.
You can also keep clicking while holding control to count out individually.
Great video Tem :)
The ability to continuously halve the stack by repeat the shift clicking or x clicking was very very useful! Is there a way to take just one on an Xbox controller I know on PC there is a button.
Great tips! Thanks
Did he just went in the cave and his voice went echo great editing my dude
For instant ressurect your Pals you can also build the View Cage (or whatever it is called). Put the Pals in there and rhey are instantly alive. Just build it on a high position where the space it needs doesn't matter
The going to sleep too early thing... I was farming materials for hot tubs etc because my pals were going crazy any time I was at the base. That was it, 100%. 😂
Great video thanks ❤
After the update is this pal revive and the nails are still possible? for the thermal we can't do that if we use some fire pals to fly or mounted
Love keeping a nice anesthetic around my base 😂
When taking the grappling guns in and out to reset them u could also just right click on them and right click them in the inventory to reequip them. Its much faster
Not about the tips but I like how when you went into the cave you added an echo so it sounded like your in a real cave nice touch
While the shirt tip is a solid one, you do gain flat defense and HP by making the cold or heat resist armor types of each tier. Short of having the schematics for making incredible default armor you should definitely be wearing one or the other resistant types as soon as you unlock their tech.
When he talked about the skill fruit tree tip can anyone tell me the coordinates of that area thinking of making a base there
Just to add - shirts go to +1 and +2, and +2 ones give lvl.3 resistance, which is basically full immunity against weather.
Nails got nurfed. Big sad
*nerfed
Narf Narf
Nails wdym?
@@heathermilford people were selling them for easy money initially, I guess the devs dropped the value so we couldn't exploit'em like that
i wish they didn’t nerf it fr
Does sleeping with your KO pals not work to revive them anymore?
Any mods/world setting the time of the recording?
That grapple trick!!!!!
how are you suppose to pick up the dead and take them back to your base?
My other bases were build only for Ore and Coal farming. Those bases does not even have any Pals working. They are just there for me to travel and transport those minerals to my main base after i mine using digtoise.
I didn't even know you can drop off the pals in their spheres like that. I was using base pals in the palbox to swap lol
Learned something new!
Nice!
With Galeclaw you can go really far by reload cancelling the musket. You just spam reload and jump and you barely consume stamina.
How do you sort pals in the box?
upper right corner there is a sort option :)
@@willrobinson4859 thanks.
Also higher star Pals do not drop more in the corrals.
Another way to instantly revive your pals is to build the display cage, and they revive when you put them in
@@techead23 I think they fixed this. Wasn't able to pull it off myself. On ps5
@@asuragaming6671 This was when it first came out, so they probably did
@@techead23 that's fair, just wanted to get it known so anyone else trying it didn't think they were doing something wrong
12:00 * Facepalm * IF ONLY I KNEW THIS SOONER GOD
Sometimes I really fell stupid, Then again that is the fun in this game discovering new things every day
nice tips love it...
Location of the tree fruit?
work in multiplayers?
you cant get lvl 3 heat resistant shirt and cold resistant but i haven't found the heat one yet
Thoughts on pizza as food?
hangyu or galeclaw?
Why when you went into the artic cave your voice sounded like it had an echo like you were actually in the damn cave lol
