Could not live without mine. When I was going through a "I'm gonna sell the 4Runner" phase, this allowed me to drag my feet long enough until I eventually came back to my senses. I only have 1 complaint: I wish they were smart enough to know when you're in reverse. I'd like a setting for it to adjust back to default/off when in reverse. Must be a limitation in simply they way ALL of these work, because I don't think ANY of them do that.
I love mine, and I set it on 6. .Its a little touchy, as you can feel a little "hit" on the driveline when in city driving, but its still far better than factory
This is great. I installed one and, frankly while I could tell the difference, I was a bit disappointed. That said, I recently reengaged it and now I won't drive without it. I've matured - HA!, to appreciate the better throttle response.
Can you please tell me exactly what type of insulation tape. I cannot find it at Home Depot or Amazon. If you don’t mind, please provide link in the description where you bought it? Very much appreciated.
Great video. Thanks.✌️👍💜😊 Cool trucks too👍✌️💜😊 I hope mine is easy to install on a Suzuki Swift, the pedal response is dire, and you're right, burying the pedal in the carpet makes no difference (set up for eco - but I was taught that best fuel efficiency is achieved by getting up through revs and box quickly). This car has variable valve timing (VVT) and like a bike engine to get the best it needs reving up through the range, nearly impossible on factory settings to get the best out of its VVT.
@@ACEventure was there an aftermarket tune? Did you replace the unit just in case there was an issue with that specific one? Just very odd IMO. Never seen an issue that couldn’t be resolved or addressed .🤷🏼♂️

There are a couple that also hook up to the obd2 port to know when in reverse. I have a piggyback tuner connected already so I can't use those.
I also put on in my 4Runner after watching the install on your 4Runner. I the difference is definite noticeable.
It works great. Have it on my 4runner and it gets rid of that pedal lag. Makes the 4runner so much better to drive. 👍👍
Great video, as usual. I need one of these for both of my vehicles.
Great job on the video you two! Thanks for making it.
I just hit my tow haul button in my 2015 tundra and it’s ludicrous speed!
It definitely works I had it & pedal lag is non existent with the Sprint Booster

Thank you guys!!!!❤
Thanks for the info. Love your guys videos. I've got an 06 runner and would love to get better throttle response. Sounds like a great option.
I use the Pedal Commander for my 08’ FJ. Absolutely love it. Great for highway acceleration and the down low control on the trail is really good.
When I saw the header I naturally assumed this was about a cell phone booster! 😂 looks like I’ll be getting one for my FJ.
Looks like a good product and easy to install.
They are!

Caused a lot of CEL with throttle position sensor code for me. I took it off when i got the Magnuson SC.
What is a CEL?

Very odd. Sounds like something else might have been going on. I have seen A LOT of people with superchargers with no issues.
@@masterchief370 no issues with the supercharger, just with the sprint booster before I had the supercharger
