- Crochet braids but not crochet braids hack! This makes my sad thin natural hair thicker and best of all NO BRAIDING or tension on my fine strands. Crochet braids are too much for my natural hair but I can still utilize the crochet HAIR! I hope you enjoy this natural hair tip and let me know if you've tried this!

Rachelle, Rachelle.. girl, you just saved my life! I am at a point in my hair journey where I am trying out little- or no manipulation styles to see if will help retain my length better. Just like you, braiding and crotchet styles are not an option for my low density soft hair- it pulls my hair right out.
Thank you for doing this video, and please continue to do styling hack videos. I can see many women are reaping the benefits of your experimentation and willingness to share what you have learned.

I like this idea. I'm old skool, I used to crochet and make hook rugs when I was I kid.
.Sooo when my daughter asked me for crochet braids...there was a problem .. LOL! Finally, I agreed that crochet braids sounds better than hook rug braids.

I tried your quick method last year and it worked for me. I wore this to work several tines and out on the town in different variations on the ponytail style. Up high, down low, high bun, it works. And it does blend in very well on my natural twa hair.
