Definitely two very different “machines.” I don’t care so much for the Breville line. But as you say, some prefer those. So it seems Breville bought Lelit this year?
@@JoeyVaracalli you select the drink pull the steam wand out on the Milk it should say manual mode it's in the book I'm in Australia it could be different
Hi Joe, great channel! I have the Oracle Touch as well and just started using it Sunday morning. I'm still scratching my head on why they have buttons for lattes, flat whites, when it just extracts single and double shot espresso shots. My guess is some of the settings are different for milk steaming, etc. Just haven't used it enough yet to understand why. I've also heard that the hopper will get warm over time and it will lead to inconsistent grind doses and sizes. Have you experienced this?
Yeah if you look the froth levels are different on the milk the flat white has a lower number the latte has a higher number and the cappuccino has an even higher number
my old oracle I had for 10 years never had a problem with the grinder only reason it started leaking was because I never ever descaled it ,always used a filter but didn't realise I should also descale occasionally
I have the 1st gen Oracle and it can froth manually because it has the leaver on the side which the new one don't have, most of the time I froth automatically except Sundays when I have more time on my hands.
@@JoeyVaracalli nope in Europe it's just cheaper and it's discounted even to this day in local coffee shop. It has been made in april and it's v3... Cool
@@donald_trummp no true the oracle touch at this time used a dual boiler so it took atleast five minutes. Also even the ones that heat up super fast still need to run a decent bit of water through the portafilter to heat it up
hahahahahah yeah moving and everything has been crazy. im back in the swing now. check out my eureka libra review its my new grinder I just replaced the setter with

That is correct earlier in the year. Same with baratza so im looking forward to seeing the future of all three companies
Yes the breville does manual frothing I have one
How do you do manual frothing on the oracle?

@@annettesingleton736 likewise, always manually steam, performs pretty well.

Hey thanks I appreciate it

Ohhhh very cool yeah I forgot the 1st gen has that ability
Nice video and comparison !
Thanks nick
Joe I need some advice, my 26 year old son wants a espresso machine for Xmas and I have about 1000 to spend do you have a good recommendation?
Glad I got bianca for 2050$ deal and it's incredible
That’s a steal was it used?
That is an absolute steal 🤯 had my Bianca for 6 months now and I don't see myself using any other machine at this point.

@@guacamoleg Yes it's great machine
@@guacamoleg yeah I’m kinda in that boat I’d like to jump into using the decent but it just doesn’t look as nice to have displayed in my kitchen
Bianca will require 30 minutes of preheating, while Oracle is just a push of button. It’s not even close in terms of time.
@@donald_trummp no true the oracle touch at this time used a dual boiler so it took atleast five minutes. Also even the ones that heat up super fast still need to run a decent bit of water through the portafilter to heat it up
@@JoeyVaracalli yes, but 5 minutes is still not 30. I didn’t mean it literally
@@donald_trummpohhhh I understand. I thought you meant the jet system versions they make
when you factor in the cost of a decent grinder the legit will work out far more expensive
True but if you just by the 199 buck grinder that’s built into the oracle than it’s about the same
Lolol sounds like you are cussing the heck out ! You are awesome man, although you have been kind of quiet as of late.

Do you have any idea how annoying that bleeping was at the start, enough to turn u off that's how annoying
Good that was the point ☮️
The chrome look is so 90’s. Those expensive looking espresso machines all look like dog shit to me.
I know it’s so wonderful with beautiful 90s vibes
