​@@fiestababe1Dont forget Harry Glicken (USGS) either. He died on Unzen as well.
He was supposed to be on post during the Mt St Helens eruption. Instead, David A. Johnston took the shift so Harry could hand in his thesis.
David's last wordS on the radio were: "VANCOUVER VANCOUVER, THIS IS IT!"
Harry never forgave himself for David's death. RIP
