Man honestly this game is so great. J talks about how hard the combat is, but it honestly gets easy as you play more. There's a great sense of progression, going from not being able to take a single armoured bandit to obliterating them in one or two hits

I just liked coming across the two in the forest with no armor, smacking them in the head with an axe 4 times, and they still kill me. Then people tell me I'm bad at this mount and blade knockoff.

@@JZStudiosonline must've had a shit axe because early game weapons can kill unarmoured opponents pretty easily. Axes are also kind of shit and so are swords because they rely more on depleting opponent stamina to deal damage. Maces basically ignore that, so really you should only use maces

@@JZStudiosonline funny you mention mount & blade , because that's the best method to kill cumans just after fleeing Skalitz.
Radzig sword + Olena as a mount is good enough to defeat the cuman band in the first area.
You don't even need to grind combat skills on cows or guards beforehand.

@@junker1192 I recently saw another review about KCD and they claimed the combat is basically entirely stat based instead of skill, so it's actually kind of worse than M&B because that game let's you play with more skill even though your damage output might still suck.

hey JFJ, i have been playing for 60 hours over the past 2 weeks on this game, and when you first started to make videos on it, i knew you where gonna have a world of either pain or straight fun, because when i played it, i had to straight out kill 3 entire cities, killed alot of the monks/priests (You will learn about them late game) and be Forever wanted in a city called sassau for murdering over 50% of their population, you are prob straight path for that aswell, so tip: get "against all odds" "final gasp" and "Chain strikes" so you can just spam swing and you wont die.
(also Combat isnt hard, just legit spam every button you know and when you see green spam block while stabbing)
(Also i finished the game)
(also when you do that part of the game you have to be a good christian boy, then shank the sus imposter and then take your shit back and just RUN)
