I’m doing a tear down and rebuild of my ‘81 ct 110, is it advised to replace piston and rings when doing a rebuild? I am considering doing a larger bore like this if I need to buy new piston and rings already. Haven’t check the gaps on the original rings yet though. Dude I can’t thank you enough for your videos, I just watch your transmission rebuild video, it was a lifesaver. Also, what’s the benefit of 12v conversion? Brighter lights?
If your piston is still in good condition, just cleaning it up and clean out gunk where the rings sit, and replace the rings. It’s and easy job just gotta have time to do it. Hope that helps
Another awesome and informative vid , Thanks again FRASHD tuning is a good watch too you probably know him from your postie runs Cheap , easy , runs on a oily rag , grin from ear to ear , Awesome
Very good keep talking out your thoughts. For me as I don’t have much postie motor experience the detail is good. You haven’t shown the bottom of the barrel but generally that’s a lot to take out of a sleeve?
@@postietv7438 that's great. When my bike is ready for a refresh I'll take your lead & get it bored locally & source a piston. Some of the kits for sale are more than I paid for my bike!
Love the shirt mate ........ thanks for the love
Great video. Got my first postie recently in bad shape, a 90 6v. Keen to see the 12v conversion. Cheers
Cheers mate I’m doing the 6 to 12v engine conversion early next week

Would the engine from an NBC110 fit?
I’m not sure sorry I haven’t really worked on the nbc bikes
Hey Trav enjoying the postie TV. Thought I'd mention, you do realise the 55mm dia piston with std 49.5mm stroke will give 117.6 cc not 140.
Yeah I think I mention it somewhere in the videos bit like the 110 being 105cc😂 we have 3 bikes with this conversion on the road now all going strong!

Hi do you no if this would work on the Honda ATC 110 engine
Thanks
Hi mate, just wondering what carby and jetting u ended up with on this bike?
With out doing porting I would use a standard carb with #80 jet or port
It out to 26mm and there is heaps of options
I always wondered if it was possible to use a chinese engine top end for more CCs keen to see the outcome, keep it up 👍👍👍
Ya didn't crack the Nelson.
BBB - Budget Big Bore .... yeh baby
Hey postie
