I am purchasing an Offworld practice pad for my son and was wondering if there is a drum stand that would hold it properly. If you have any suggestions that would be great! He is getting very interested in the snare and is on his high school drumline currently playing the flub drum since he is just a freshman. He is hoping to make snare this year. Your videos are awesome. Keep up the good work!
Hi you will need to buy whats called a Concert snare stand. they are much taller allowing him to stand up and play it. I personally have a Gibraltar one with a ball socket but there are lots. BUT a HTS snare wont fit in the standard 14" cradle. A hts only fits in mine if I take off the protective rubber parts.. but for most people metal on metal is a no no. The pad fits great but if its also for a snare then you need to either take the snare into a shop to check or order a 15" one. hope that helps.
The sticking “RRRLL” or “LLRRR” is called an Egg Beater
But what is RRRLR LLLRL ?
@@FreestyleRudiments Unfortunately I couldn’t the name for that sticking, the closest thing I can find that’s similar to the “RRRLR (LLLRL)” sticking is the Shirley Murphy (RLLRRR), but in reverse and one of the note taken out. However, “Green Eggs” is such a clever name that I believe you should coin the name
