Yeah i can relate with that, me and my friends kinda drifted apart during the pandemic because i didn't feel like i was needed anymore then i fell into depression and really i felt like school wasnt worth it anymore so i basically stopped attending math during 9th grade lol, but anyways one day got a message from my friend asking me how i was and i respond with why and she was genuinely trying to reach out, so yeah you just need that one friend to reach out to you, jope the best for you it really feels bad to feel like you're not even there or that you're useless.

It sorta connects with me as well cause I have a chronic illness so I'm housebound when I'm supposed to be going into school but I can't due to my health...
All of my friends are there and are very supportive when it comes to me and are very accommodating but it's like, I can't cause most of my classes are upstairs, the corridors get crowded when it's time to head to lessons and I can't stand up for long periods of time due to the pain and I hate using the wheelchairs cause I just feel embarrassed. Also we have to wait outside the classroom door until the teacher gets there so yeah... Also the stairs are really steep so I have to grip onto the railings for dear life so I just don't collapse and fall down them

Edit : UPDATE. It’s been two months now. I’m actually in a new relationship. It’s definitely scary because of how bad the break up has affected me. I still miss my ex but I really like this new person. We’re taking things slow rn. I haven’t felt this happy in a while but yeah.

This song sorta reminds me of my social situation. No matter how many friends I have, I’m still so isolated and it’s hard to not put up personas around them. In fact I can only think of one that actively cares in anyway about me. But who knows, maybe they do care. But them leaving me so quickly disproves that. It’s like I’m a substitute plaything for them. Once a new toy comes out, they throw me away. I’ve wasted so much on them.

This reminds me of when I also had a relationship. I recall the first time I met her on that bus. It felt like magic. I introduced myself when she sat beside me and we became friends quickly after that. After months of hesitation she confessed her love to me and we became lovers from then on. We were so happy together. We'd constantly go places with each other. Talk about the future. But she started drifting away... I was a douche. I didn't make her feel special. I lied to her. I hurt her. It was from then that I realized that a girl as beautiful and kind as her deserved someone better. Someone that actually gave her the things I couldn't. I don't try to get in relationships anymore because I don't deserve to be in one. No matter how much I miss her i will never think of myself as worthy of being loved once more.
