Copa Airlines and United Airlines were merged with the extinguished Continental.... that's why both airlines have similar liveries and colours.... even the aircraft configurations are similar because back in the day they were part of the same airline....
According to reviews online this airport has super long lines, rude staff, multiple security checks and no one speaks English (I speak Spanish as a second language but when stressed it's harder to speak clearly) I'm kind of worried about flying back to the US after an 8 and a half month bicycle trip, I have an enormous box with my bike (I have flown with bicycles six times before, no issues) and I hope everything doesn't get screwed up by the rude/unhelpful employees.
Panama is great!

Copa in Spanish means cup, but in this context COPA means COmpañía Panameña de Aviación.
English translation: Panamanian Aviation Company.
