LONG WALK TO IMMIGRATION

This is by far the best airport for people watching, but it really sounds horrible for people who have flights that originate from here.

IDK why but this airport give me a very similar vibes with Bali International airport, especially on the shopping area.

I visited Cusco for the first time in October. I avoided the taxi drivers and the repeated requests, and caught an Uber instead. I recommend Ubers instead. The taxi drivers are scammers.

I had to get shuttled to the terminal but boarded my onward flight to Frankfurt by jet bridge due to going from a Non Schengen to a Schengen flight on President's Day 2018 with Wow Air at the time. But on my return journey, I had to be shuttled from my Schengen flight to the terminal and shuttled to my onward Non Schengen flight to back home to Baltimore. I did hear that Keflavik recently expanded their south terminal on the west end, though. It may help with connections, and it may not. And of course, Wow Air ceased operations thirteen months later on March 28th, 2019.

Yes you can do an E-Visa online ahead of time. You have upload a most recent photo of yourself when you apply for an E-Visa. It takes 3-day business days to approve.

When we arrive at the port, a local stopped us telling the same, tickets sold out but he can help us find the earliest one. However, we need to go to their counter first to sign our name and give ID, then you need to pay for insurance. I thought that's normal so I paid until he said our ticket costs 1500 each, I immediately told him no need for his help, I can find ticket my own because I know it's only 800php. I walk forward and saw some counters. There was no line and there are still available tickets! Never ever trust these locals approaching you to help at the port!
