Never forget seeing her live at Six Flags Georgia in the early 80s and the park was open all night after, and every ride the people were stomping the floor and singing her songs in unison while waiting in line on every ride the entire night. One of the best experience, if not the best, of my early teen years.

Love me some Joan Jett! She's the Queen of Rock n Roll! Add Dave Grohl and it's all rock-n-roll! Love it! What happened to the video with Bad Reputation, Cherry Bomb and Crimson & Clover w/Tommy James at the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame?

I saw Joan in 1979, as part of the Runaways. Cherie Currie had left the band, so Joan was the leader. They opened for the Ramones on the Tulane campus in New Orleans. To say it was one of the wildest shows i ever saw, well, thats an understatement. Joan was sexy as hell, of course.

Hal (the bass player) had only in been the band a few months. I doubt he was upset. I think it was the lack of lighting and time constraints making him rush. Hal has nothing to do with Joan’s history so he fully understand this moment is not about him.
