The Scion tC is such a fun car to own. I have a 06 and love doing my own repairs. Interior and exterior mods are cheap and nice. I can't wait to upgrade to a newer one in the future 😬

Two quick questions...how do you change the gauge lights from orange to blue? And what year is your TC?
what an awesome video! im currently restoring the paint of my 2008 scion tc, It has damaged paint, broken bumpers, sun damaged interior, ripped seats, its definitely going to need some work and I just can't get rid of it because it was my first car that i've owned. It has a rebuilt engine so thats a plus. This car is so awesome to customize. I replaced all the broken stuff with new parts and currently working on that. I should make a video of my progress. But you have me ideas to work on the inside as well. I own a toyota 86 but I am planning to use my tC as my daily again. Once again great vid bro, hows your tC doing? I know this vid was posted in 2016 lol

Can you do a video on how you painted your speedometer trim and the waterfall. Or comment what paints you used and did.
Also for your next small interior project you should change the A/C control panel lights to blue was well so it all flows together. i just did it to mine and it looks great. Just don't forget to do the LCD screen where the clock is it has 3 lights
I made a video on how to paint lip I used the same type of paint as in that video just that I used white for my waterfall so you can use any color as long as it's the duplicolor paint.
I actually did change the lights in the hvac which is where the ac buttons are but I just didn't change the Lcd screen i still have that orange maybe one day I'll change it to blue.

How did you add the switch to the led lights and how did you install the custom steering wheel ? Because I have the same car and I wanted to do the samething
Interior looks sick man, hydro dipping came out super clean! I thought about doing that myself but just wrapped as the DIY vids make it look a PITA to get it as clean as you did.
Did you take the main AC vents out of the dash to wrap them?

I have an 07 Scion tc 5 speed. I want to do the lighting in my interior and a new steering wheel like yours. I don't know how to wire all that stuff though :( Where did you get the blue lamp lights, the ones you said you want to turn back to white? I been looking for them but can't find any? And what steering wheel is that? Thanks

What did you do for the airbag light ? (because of the aftermarket wheel?)
The airbag light is still on my speedometer. It doesn't really bother me but if your trying to remove it you can simply unsolder that led for airbag and the light won't be on anymore.
+Jesse “ThatSalvagedAutomaticTc” Contreras do you think the passenger would still deploy? and do you think using a light would cancel the light ?
+Isaiahdawg101x I believe to keep your passenger airbag from working you might have to find a way to fit the clock spring back in because that's where the sensor is I believe not to sure. But if you just want the light off you can just remove the LED but if you want the airbags to still work you would have to do some modifications to fit the clock spring or maybe fitting the air bag connector. Havnt really looked into it that much but I'll make sure to see if I can figure out a way

I have different things wired up differently, some things I have hooked up straight to battery and other things to the cig fuse.

I took out the side panels in the back seats and put two led strips back there and drilled holes perfectly so you only see the light shining through and the same in the cup holders in the center. Will upload that video I think you will like the idea.

Just my opinion: you should wrap all this carbon fiber things in piano black or something like that. Idk if its just me but everything with carbon fiber wrap looks too rice hahah (strange to type this from a carbon fiber wraped notebook, but ok)

I used 3m double sided tape

+Sergio Nausa yeah put the 3m tape in the tc emblem then use a heat gun to hear it up and then stick it to anything you want

I made them, and I'm planning to make some for people if they want some.

I only have them for the rs3 version tcs for now. Im currently working on the regular bumper. For dual button it will be $150 without the Leds You have to buy the Leds Separate Depending on if you want 1W which is $5 each and 3w is $11 Each. So You will receive The wiring Harness with two Led Switches ring design or dot design and any color you want it to light up. it also comes with the hardware to install the Led Fogs and it comes with Carbon Fiber Sheet with the design you want your fogs to look.
Its a Plug and play System Which you can switch Design of the CF sheet and Color of the Fogs. For Single button it will be $135 Comes with the same like dual button but you can only control the lights with one button. Im making a video soon about the Led Fogs because it hard to describe in text so Stay tuned.

I never liked the first Generation TC body style, it's too round for my taste and the Headlights and Taillights ain't my style. Plus I always found the center console to be weird looking, the way it was made with a big knob in the middle and the shifter linkage is more towards the dash upwards. The 14-16 TC has the best looking Front end and the interior is roomy, my legs are not touching the steering column.
