Hey man nice video. So ive got a question, i bought an 05 tc at 120k miles last December, (i love it), but i noticed while watching your video i think i have the same problem that you said, that is the rear strut. I know little about cars, but it sounds like clunking of some sort from the rear at lower speeds. So what does this mean? Thanks!
So clunking could either be rear struts or in my case I discovered that it was the bushing for the sway bar itself. I would check all the bushings. When I did the rear end work, I did struts and sway bar links. It kept clunking at low speeds and that’s when I noticed the two bushings in the center of the car that hold up the sway bar itself were shot. Easy to replace. Replaced them and it’s been perfect three years later
Great deal and these cars are really reliable. Just fix things little by little but congrats :) I also wanted to get a car like this in auction but haven’t looked where there are some in New York.

You got a good deal. I just got hit in it and they totaled it out and cut me a check for 5250. I bought it back for 700 abs threw a junkyard black door and fixed the rear quarter panel myself. All in under 500 in repairs. Still clean title.
@@mkecarconnection3808 buddy of mine kept up with it really well always did the best oil changed only used premium which I'm not sure if it makes a difference. What do you think?
She's all fixed up. Funny thing was it was in an light accident months later, and insurance valued it at 5500. I bought it from them for 600, swapped out the door and rocker cover and pushed a dent out of the quarter panel from the inside. Spent like 500 in repairs.
Very nice tC auction scoreeee!!! And those metal door scuff plates that say tC are a rare add on option!!!!
August will be two years with it and it’s been solid!!! Love the car!

Fix it up and keep it. Struts are 300 bucks mirror another 150 bucks rust repair and paint you’ll be way over what you paid

2k for a bulletproof engine is a good find
A reference to Auto auction rebuilds yep that’s kind of what he’s talking about.❤😂
Nice pickup
How do i go to an auction
2006 is a good year.
2007, 2008 and 2009 are oil burners.
I have the 2005 manual transmission
@@Dami784 - Another good year. You have three piece oil rings instead of one piece like mine. You also have larger oil return ports than mine.
Carmax in LA pays out for 1500 😂
