"Why is this show so good?" Exactly. Easy to miss how good storytelling this is amidst the fun stuff. They are so intentional with everything, but not like in an in-your-face way. It's just organic connections. The guru's point I guess, lol. Love y'all's reactions.
When Suki and the Kyoshi warriors showed up to help Appa I exclaimed out loud "OH THANK GOD" which I had never done while watching anything. Yes this episode was pure pain because animal cruelty is one of the few things I can't watch.
Even more ‘cause Iroh technically was a general of the fire nation before losing his son, so he did bad stuff even if he didn’t really want to obviously
6:52 Idk if there’s enough juice there to make Appa hallucinate even if he didn’t spit it out. Remember how many lashes it took from the shirshu to paralyze him?
No essay today. Just pain 😢🥲. Seriously tho our boy Appa is a fighter. I usually dont like animals that are pretty much mascots and dont have an actual role in any form of media be it shows, anime or even books. But they absolutely won me over with Appa and this Episode. #❤❤APPA.
Hey Meesh and Dee. I hope you two are having a wonderful Wednesday. This was a great episode. It's a very sad episode. We finally know what had been happening to Appa from the time he was with Aang group in the episode "The Library" and what he had been through. From being torture and abused. And every time he tried to find a location to relax. He's constantly attacked. I feel for him. I'm happy that the only kindness that was ever shown to him was the Kyoshi warriors, kid at the circus, and the old man Guru Pathik. Man, I hate Li Feng and the Dai Li. But anyway, I hope you two have a wonderful day. Stay safe, take care, and stay amazing.
Hey Rob! This was another emotional episode for us too 🥺 So sad to see what Appa had to go through and then for him to go through hell & back just to end up with Li Feng.... SMH. Hope you're having a wonderful day/evening too! Always good to hear from you 🫶
Fun fact, the firenation child who helped appa with the hay and encouraged him to runaway from the circus is voiced by the same VA who voices Aang.
Aww I didn’t know that fact! 🥹🙏🏽

🥰❤️❤️
"Ozai's Angels"
Whoever came up with that nickname deserves a medal.
Obligatory "this episode won a Genesis award for the depiction of animal cruelty and abuse, especially in circuses" comment.
Hahaha, I was looking over comments for this... yep.
Ugh right?! So sad 😭😫😫
@@MeeshDeeReacts Oh, also, yes, this is indeed the same circus Ty Lee was performing in.
When Appa starts digging at the dirt where the library tower was I lost it omg sweet Appa
From our perspective as the audience, Appa was gone for like 2 months since we had to wait 2 weeks for every new episode in 2006
😂😂 so true!! Real pain
wtf😭

Poor Appa! He got the Theon Greyjoy treatment.
lol! That Theon comment hits different! So true 😫
@@MeeshDeeReactsi hope this doesn't happen in the Netflix version.
SO close! The Big Pig is a boarcupine. :D
5:45 Tell that to the Buzzard Wasp who tried taking Momo. Aang got Momo free and still took that thing down.
I loved how the sand sailor that Aang and them found was because of Appa sneezing. In a way, he helped them out of the desert
Appa is the only character that I would say is more pure than Iroh, and that's saying a lot.
Even more ‘cause Iroh technically was a general of the fire nation before losing his son, so he did bad stuff even if he didn’t really want to obviously
@@mattiaachille233 yes.
8:29 , it sounded like he said: "AAAAAH, IT'S SOME KIND OG *MOTHER"*
lmao azula finished suki while dissing her, cant hate but admire her
🤣🤣

I had to watch your reaction to this after the Netflix trailer. This episode is top tier.

100!! We love Appa so much 🥹❤️
3:36 honestly tho where did they get a six leg chain the size of a sky bison 😂
Right?! That’s what I’m saying 🤣🤣
They probably made it like M & D said.
I’m guessing they attached the cuffs and then added chains to each of them.
Aang killed the vulture wasp
