Bruce I’m curious if your subscription rate has increased since doing these videos with Robert. I know I’ve found them to be a breath of fresh air. I consider these almost as short podcasts which is a nice change of pace from most of UA-cam watch content. Regardless, keep it up!
I held one today at the AD. It definitely has that yellow-green tint that the Ranger and BB Pro have. The lume plots are also raised ceramic like the BB Pro. It's a large watch, but thin. It is VERY legible, and the lume is epic. This is a real took watch. Extremely rugged. I'd like to see a thinner BB Pro, or a Plegaos 39 GMT with a bracelet.
imo tudor need to be carefull of not overloading to me their best line up the pelagos range .i love my lhd and rhis new release is a great watch , just in the past 2 years theres been quiet a few and it doesnt take long to water down peoples interest
Love that you quickly uploaded a video addressing the new FXD. But whoa! What’s up with the new ‘do??? Don’t get me wrong. You look good! But maybe a warning video first? 😂
Still waiting for Tudor to replace the Snowflake hour hand with a baton or ladder style hand/s. Until then I’ll stick with the Homage Watches that seem to be the only ones able to do it right. 😊
Pelegos 39 GMT on bracelet with strap options is the sweet spot. Hopefully not yellow and retains the stark white contrast. The fabric pin buckle on this isn't great either.
Hey Bret Bruce, can you talk about your experience with Watch Exchange Company please. I am thinking of buying from them but would like your personal thoughts since you have purchased from them. Thanks
I love the GMT complication but living between India and the US - there is no manufacturer who makes a GMT that operates with 1/2 hour increments - India is either 10 1/2 hours or 11 1/2 hours ahead of the US ( depending on Daylight savings ) and so the GMT watches are a non starter for me - with that said this is 🔥🔥
The arrow really does change between orange and red depending on the light. And you can already find these in stores…assuming they haven’t been sold already
When will you come back to the Paneristi side Bruce? Im currently obsessed with getting a Submersible PAM01232 Blu Abisso Carbotech, they have the most amazing bezel, and light weight.. only problem is the price, but I want it anyway, I have enough Rolexes
Good question. I am always on the look out for a classic 111. Also figuring out which Radiomir I want. I'm content waiting for the right reference and deal to jump out at me.
@@BruceWilliams I kinda like that new Radiomir with the burnished case, and the green California dial... I had a ceramic Radiomir two hander with a hobnail dial that was really really nice.. but I hate manual winders, I always forget to wind and then my time is off, I ended up trading it in and getting a Explorer two tone which I love
Nice discussion. Yes, the thickness is great for a GMT, but the size is too big, at least for me. A 39 GMT would be better for smaller wristed folks like me. All the best.
I don’t see anything there that would make me want to wear this instead of an Omega. Guys who wear Omega own the room they walk into, certainly not Tudor.
Its important to see this watch with your own eyes, there is no fauxtina it’s a very subtle off-white, looks white to be honest, and the lug to lug is weirdly closer to 48 than a 52mm…
I’m not caring for this one. The dial is very “busy” plus I don’t like the strap. That being said, I’m heading to my A.D. either this week or next to buy the 42 mm Pelagos.
why is everyone obsessed with thin sports watches. i like the omega PO 43, just the right amount of thickness and substance, that i would expect from a sports watch.
That’s what the normal Pelagos is for; this watch was designed explicitly in collaboration with and for the Marine Nationale. That’s the intended customer base in this instance. That it’s also available to the general public is a nicety. Wait a year or two and there wil likely be a Pelagos GMT as well.
Tried it on today and yeah the lightness is like nothing on the wrist, gave me cheap vibes next to my 1st gen planet ocean in 45, lacks the comfort of weight my 3 cents
another diver which wants to be a pilot... I dont like that.... And I am a Pelgaos fan... If it was olive green dial or cream dial with black lume plots it would be much better... also the bezel looks a bit larger and numerals are so Glycine.... still as I said in another video... I am close to pulling the trigger
A fantastic pick, pre owned a couple of years down the road. Tudor watches are fantastic but depreciate like there is no tomorrow.
First time I have come across these guys, pretty decent discussion and no BS Drama like other channels. Subscribed.
I appreciate that! We film regularly together. More on the way
Love this new Tudor, looks fantastic!
Great discussion. My take on this , I am waiting for the Tudor's next best iteration of the Pelagos. I am sure they will in 6 months😀
Fair
We shall see. The original Pelly is likely up next. But I wonder if it will be discontinued and the FXD takes over the Pelagos line
@@BruceWilliams I think the fixed lugs gives just enough distance from big brother Rolex that it allows Tudor to roll out some great pieces.
Love this release. Looking forward to the US Navy version that hopefully comes out next year.
Bring it on Tudor
I want one with a Ranger bracelet.

I don't think it's intended at fake patina, I think its just a warmer tone.
Exactly
This in a bracelet option would be great..
Thats what I am talking about
Such a great watch. Love it, need to find some more straps for it!
that was incredible. what a beautiful watch and what great work you did on it!MAMACOO
The lume color looks weird for me(very similar to Ranger). I don't hate vintage lume, but Tudor made it too greenish.
I need to see it in person

Premium is justified. This is at the top of my list.
I just talked myself out of getting the FXD because I have the 39. But now... Now my brain is going to beat itself up until I purchase this bad boy.
The FXD is special!
imo tudor need to be carefull of not overloading to me their best line up the pelagos range .i love my lhd and rhis new release is a great watch , just in the past 2 years theres been quiet a few and it doesnt take long to water down peoples interest

Lol my kids are trying to get me to go back to the troll hair
Still waiting for Tudor to replace the Snowflake hour hand with a baton or ladder style hand/s. Until then I’ll stick with the Homage Watches that seem to be the only ones able to do it right. 😊
That's convenient lol
I think the fixed lug concept is under utilized and wish more brands had some models with this feature
Totally agree
I love it … it’s the perfect GMT for real traveling purposes… Fully Lume Bezel… how stunning 🎉… perfect 👍
Pelegos 39 GMT on bracelet with strap options is the sweet spot. Hopefully not yellow and retains the stark white contrast.
The fabric pin buckle on this isn't great either.
It’s a nice watch but I just wish they made the FXD in a stainless steel option for those of us that don’t like titanium.
Btw Hair looks fantastic! 😁
Appreciate that! I prefer steel to titanium as well
First! Hello from NJ. Thank you for putting up another great video. Gladiator we salute you!
Hello from Mountainous Utah
Looked at one today , it’s a confusing hybrid military , diver look, next to the fxd blue in the shop the blue is coming home, still a cool watch
I tried on yesterday. AD said it will be last until 2024. I decided I would pick up the FXD black. Prettier IMO
love it so much, thinking about selling my Omega Seamaster Great White..
Hey Bret Bruce, can you talk about your experience with Watch Exchange Company please. I am thinking of buying from them but would like your personal thoughts since you have purchased from them. Thanks
Tudor needs to make a smaller FXD. 52 L2L is too big.
I love the GMT complication but living between India and the US - there is no manufacturer who makes a GMT that operates with 1/2 hour increments - India is either 10 1/2 hours or 11 1/2 hours ahead of the US ( depending on Daylight savings ) and so the GMT watches are a non starter for me - with that said this is 🔥🔥
This has 1/2 hour increments - 48 click bezel so it covers India, Venezuela etc. I have bought it😊.
I can confirm that - I have bought this watch too and it has 0.5 hour increments on the bezel which I use to track India time
@ really - I did not know that - thank you for the feedback
The arrow really does change between orange and red depending on the light. And you can already find these in stores…assuming they haven’t been sold already
My local AD got one and it was sold the next day

@Tobester_McDonkey that one looks very sharp. I wanna see the 1383 in person as I think they do a really sharp sunray blue
Easily one of my favorite releases of the year. 🎉🎉🎉
Nice discussion. Yes, the thickness is great for a GMT, but the size is too big, at least for me. A 39 GMT would be better for smaller wristed folks like me. All the best.
This release might actually allow me to replace my Heritage Ranger. I also own the LHD but this being a GMT would allow me to own 2 Pelagos models.
Faux patina" is just a shade, a design choice that is more cohesive than a stark white, nothing more than that.
I don’t see anything there that would make me want to wear this instead of an Omega. Guys who wear Omega own the room they walk into, certainly not Tudor.
Clearly you've never met an Invicta collector
Especially a first generation PO in 45 mm😁
Its important to see this watch with your own eyes, there is no fauxtina it’s a very subtle off-white, looks white to be honest, and the lug to lug is weirdly closer to 48 than a 52mm…
agree. I have the MN OG and and have a pretty small wrist (I also wear a 36mm Patek and 37mm Yachtmaster) and it wears great
It's proble probably the outrage from the EJECTO STRAP on a fighter jet lol
I’ll take one in 39mm please. Thanks
I’m not caring for this one. The dial is very “busy” plus I don’t like the strap. That being said, I’m heading to my A.D. either this week or next to buy the 42 mm Pelagos.
Love the look of the Pelagos (not the gmt, but the 42 and 39) but man, that watch is THICC. Too chunky for me
why is everyone obsessed with thin sports watches. i like the omega PO 43, just the right amount of thickness and substance, that i would expect from a sports watch.
New hair who dis
No bracelet? They would expand their customer base if they got rid of the fixed bracelet bars. It’s to gimmicky. It gives Invicta vibes.

Grade 2 titanium ? What were they thinking ?🤔🥴
They were thinking all the talking heads like these two would give glowing reviews. Tudor could put a turd on nato anx they would love it
Grade 2 has better sea water corrosion resistance than Grade 5 - that’s probably what they were thinking
They were thinking it doesn't matter which grade they use lol the material performs similarly
Don’t get the fuss
Why yes please, Tudor, we need more black boring watches that all look the same
Every Tudor kinda looks the same to me
Good point! Very Underrated observation, sir!
FXD is an excellent military watch 💕🌈🔥
Well this is a men’s military watch but they do have a pink one that might be more up your alley.
I think it's a cool watch but I don't like titanium. I wish it came in SS. Still nice but not for me. I like to feel a watch on my wrist.
Listen up Tudor
Tried it on today and yeah the lightness is like nothing on the wrist, gave me cheap vibes next to my 1st gen planet ocean in 45, lacks the comfort of weight my 3 cents

I am close to pulling the trigger
It reminds me of a glycine
Hot take: Pelagos is a dive watch. This is not a dive watch. Fail.
ugly. casio offers something that looks just like it for $50
Most BORING brand....
It looks awful
That's an ugly watch. My opinion
Aimed at middle aged overweight wannabes 😂
so you are buying? but seriously almost every watch in 2024 is geared to cosplay.
@davidr2802 lol i had one the first gen FXD, these are just becoming too gimicky now, and we are playing right into it
