Just purchased yesterday. Great addition to the collection and will certainly be on my wrist while in my Navy uniform. The amount of negativity regarding the military look is exhausting. This was designed for naval personnel and i plan to use it accordingly.
@robertposteschild2353 of course I could use a g shock but I don't find any excitement in that. I prefer mechanical watches and yes of course they are jewelry.
Just like the Original, the MN FXD GMT (quite a mouthful) left me feeling the same way: There's nothing I'd want to see changed about it. Does a watch like this make the FXD line more appealing to you? 🥃
Just Perfect, combine it with an Erika‘s Originals elastic MN strap with a matching sand coloured centreline and titanium hardware and you’ve got the perfect watch!
Very well presented IDGuy as usual. As an LHD owner I like the parchment lume and hands, I also appreciate that Tudor have kept the snowflake seconds hand on a new release, I'm not a fan of the lollipop on the other recent releases but it's not a show stopper. It's a tough one to decide which watches would be in my collection starting again as we now have hindsight of seeing and trying different releases over time but if I were to choose a GMT from a watch that is currently in production this would be a worthy contestant. Looking at discontinued GMT watches I would still go with my Omega 231.90.43.22.04.001 that is more versatile in my humble (and biased somewhat) opinion but I dare not think what it would cost new in todays money. Many thanks for sharing.
Absolutely love my FXD Blue Marine Nationale (purchased last weekend) and now I want to purchase this new FXD GMT. Amazing pieces from Tudor. And thank you for such a great content 👍👍👍

Absolutely, No Explanation Required regarding the FXD line. Seeing this GMT and its design has me hooked even more on the FXD/Pelagos variants. I will enjoy the opportunity to see it in all its Titanium glory at some point in the future. It being METAS is the icing on the cake. Regarding your closing comments, totally agree the new Omega FOIS and the FXD GMT added to my P39 would be a perfect three-watch collection. With these, there is no longer a need IMHO to chase the R-Crown.
Ah, the FXD keeps pulling me back. It blows my mind how I have such a fondness for the collection… but after years of wear, these models haven’t failed me. Under cars, in the sea, boarding flights, hiking trails, running and working out… just keeps getting better 😉 Life would be simpler with only two pieces, right? 🥃

My watch was purchased 2 years ago from AMZWATCH and, to this day, it still looks and runs as well as it did the day it arrived. That movement has never missed a beat despite never having been serviced. I can't complain about that.
Picked up a AMZWATCH's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!

My first time watching the channel. He talks up Tudor watches very well. He did so well speaking about the watch that he talked me into subscribing. Glad to hear about this channel, my first time here. Great video and excellent review.
Your version is excellent. I imagine that a carbon composite case, is only a CNC machine away? The Pelagos is the absolute best watch available. The original has beautiful titanium which marks, but bizarrely self heals. The strap is simply the best available. The FXD MN are fabulous relaxing weekend watches, and the FXD Red Bull, is so light, that you really forget you're wearing a watch. Why is it that Tudor designs such perfect watches? It must be a really well run company. I congratulate the staff. Thankyou.

As always another great video. Your passion for the FXD is something else, this hobby needs people like you, it's so much better than the drone we hear from others who are just reading the specs off a script. Please continue on your path. My thoughts towards your question of chasing a Rolex. We have all been beaten to the ground with Rolex, I admit I don't follow any Rolex reviews or content that compares Rolex to other brands, i'm tired of it. We all know Rolex is a well made watch, but there are many well made watches, there has always been well made watches. So, no we don't need to chase Rolex, if you're lucky to find a watch that ticks all the boxes, or at least most of them, you are ahead of the game.
Great review. I love the Pelagos. It was the first watch I really fell in love with but didn’t pull the trigger because of its thickness. With the new releases and the GMT in particular, I look forward to seeing the FXD in person to see if it will be my first Tudor.
I have one watch - FXD MN, bought for my 50th. I love it. It's not left my wrist apart from when the strap needs washing.... Working, diving, tennis, weights, running, sleeping, gardening! Now I need the GMT, I would change that strap though.
This is a very nice addition to the FXD line. The date is a good practical function for everyday use. And GMT is actually pretty useful to folks who trade markets in different time zones. And let's be honest, some of us are only going to be diving into the ocean at weekends - if ever(!)
The FXD is definitely pretty cool, but I prefer the BB 925 over it 😅 just because I feel I need to have a silver watch in my collection. Great video brother 👍🏽
Thank you for this great review including your suggestions! My likes: FXD, GMT, Date, Master Chronometer, two-colour lume, text on the dial kept to the minimum. Dislikes: vintage vibes, case only titanium grade 2 instead of 5. Solution as a suggestion from my side to Tudor: Adding a Pelagos 39 GMT Date with the blue dial and bezel of the FXD MN, bracelet with 20mm lug width and improved T-Fit clasp (shorter and without sharp edges) and the whole tihing in titanium grade 5 - this could be my dream Tudor.
I picked mine up this afternoon. Great watch, really works. The strap is the weakest element in MHO. I put mine straight onto a velcro similar to the black FXD.
Most BRILLIANT review. You should start a Kickstarter Campaign and design a watch as your mind is so BRILLIANT. I’m waiting to get a tropical dial Smiths Everest watch! You are so intelligent in designing that. Thank you
Thank you brother. It's an odd thing to admit, but I'd probably be ripping my design to pieces once every other week (and wanting to improve it again and again and again) 😉🥃
Great observations… well needed as I’m chasing a GMT Master 2 and a Sub… your closing thought is making me think my 2254 and this Pelagos GMT could be all the watches I would actually need… 😅
Never been a tudor guy.. then i saw the black bay gmt (the basic one, not the 58) amd the fxd… i fell in love, with both.. visited a dealership in my hometown.. looked at one, looked at the others… was unable to decide… the owner of the place, that knows me enough to know that i rarely start the purchase process when my mind is not set asked me “is something missing”… and i was like lwhen dp you think they will make a gmt fxd?” He laughed and come back with a very surprising “i hope soon, it seems everyone and their mom want this combo, me included”… here we go… time to set aside any doubts and buy the first Tudor…
That final one on the wrist? I stood back and thought it was real 🤣 Love it when renders get so good that they blur the lines. Like you, an all-black, maybe a black strap? Ah… dig it 🥃
Finally, I found someone who has the same good taste. I've already said that Pelagos GMT should have a black watch case version, as a military tool watch may be coated with Cerakote.
I freaking love this release. I too own the original MN21 and 100% would like to add this. Even if you aren’t chasing a Rolex gmt (I also own a Pepsi) this would be much more comfortable to travel with and draw absolutely no unwanted attention. I don’t mind the creamy lume. I always loved the LHD but never purchased one due to the thickness of the case. I’m sure there will be a regular slimmer next gen Pelagos/ Pelagos gmt on a bracelet at some point as well.
As an owner of the black FXD, I prefer the stark white dial markers and hands to this faux look. It’s not bad, but would just preferred it if they stayed consistent on that front. Great insight as always, and was excited to hear your take on this release.
The FXD is my perfect go to watch This new GMT would be equally amazing. I love them both, but wouldn’t buy both, so the original will have to do. That strap would actually work on the MN too 👍
Like you I’d like to add both (now that I think about it) BUT only choosing one? I’d still rock the original. Done way too much with it AND it’s never felt out of place ever 🔥
Having owned multiple modern Tudors over the years including 5 different model types, the FXD platform is by far my favorite even over my second fav, the Pelagos LHD - it truly is a special watch imo - the only issue that I think is worthy of discussion is part of makes this watch so perfect: the fixed bars. If you are looking for a versatile watch, do not like nato/parachute/single pass straps, have small wrists or need something that you can dress up then this is not a good choice. But if this is not your only watch or you simply only desire a rugged tool watch then the FXD should be one you should check out it the metal - it is super legible, super light and comfortable, super tough, very accurate, has superior bezel action and lume, great case proportions - this is the epitome of a modern tool watch. I adore the FXD and I fully intend on adding this new GMT model while keeping my current FXD Diver Black in my own collection. ps: Love your content - even when my opinions differ, you always are thoughtful and insightful.
got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on AMZWATCH 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.
Oh what a difference a stripe makes!! Your modifications make it as perfect as any watch could be. In answer to your question I want a Tudor FXD not because I can’t have a Rolex but because Tudor has all the overbuilt qualities in a no nonsense military grade piece. It not only looks the part, it is the real deal. Fantastic detail and design. A Tudor Rose on the dial would be my only addition. 🥃
Proud owner of a FXD M.N.22 (the year my son was born, the watch will go to him when he's 18) and a 94010 M.N.80 bought 20 years ago. I love the FXD range, and this GMT looks fantastic. I am not bothered by the beige lume, or the absence of a stripe on the strap. I would, however, would have liked them to keep a luminous triangle at 12 to measure elapsed time. This, after all, is a 200m diver at its core.
For me, this is a better Explorer II alternative than the black bay pro, despite the obvious similarities between the explorer and the pro. The visually slimmer case (not sure if it’s actually slimmer than the pro) and military aesthetic are right up my street.
I have been checking for this video since the watch was released. Finally, ID Guy, they gave us a Pelagos GMT. Looks nice, your suggestions would make it stealthier. I was wondering what it would look like with the black strap from the Chrono. All Tudor needs to do now to own the sports GMT is release a P39 GMT.
I was so tempted to go black strap on the model instead of the olive 😉 We both know they’re going to go down the P39 road soon with this styling and design… it’ll be unreal! 2025 might just be the year 🔥
The FXD really has to be owned to understand, it's light, thin, strap it on and go, I have a MN 24 and a with all great pieces it just makes you sell a bunch cos nothing else gets wrist time
Hear hear David! It's absolutely brilliant... been my "beater" from day one, is my running watch, workout watch, dive watch and everything in between. Ah, it's gold 🥃
I’m a huge FXD fan, a big Tudor fan and I really enjoy GMTs. While this release is, objectively, excellent, I don’t find the same hook from it that I do from the FXD MN I own, or the FXD Black I want to own. Perhaps it’s the cream colored hands or indices. Or perhaps it’s the large font on the bezel. There’s something there that prevents me from wanting this. That said, I’m very happy it exists and that Tudor is listening.
Superb content as always... it's a rather attractive timepiece. The Pelagos range has always appealed to me... especially the LHD. However, a Rolex alternative it is not imo... for better and worse. Keep up the good work. 😊
Well said Steve. Think I threw in that line because the FXD has travelled to many different continents with me (and to some sketchy places) AND boy did it ride under the radar… they’re so effing cool and nobody even looks at them twice 😆🥃
You ever think about narrating audiobooks? Or Nature Documentaries? David Attenborough 2.0. Combine your love of watches with traveling the world with BBC for documentaries and you will change the world. Phenomenal Release by Tudor. I owned a standard Pelagos I wasn't in love with but this one gets everything right that I didn't love about my Pelagos. I actually love the off-white vintage vibe they went with and am with you on the orange. Also love your rendering in black. I've been trying to get my hands on an Explorer II but this release makes me want to bag that and go for this.
I really like this new release! Great discussion around this one as usual. To answer your question, there's not reason to go for a Rolex when Tudor puts out watches like this in my opinion. ID_Guy, you are the person that got me truly excited about the FXD and with this GMT release I think it puts us in a place to be spoiled for options. Does one get this GMT? Or, do we get a Diet Pepsi or BB Pro plus the excellent blue-dialed variant that you wear so frequently? Or, do we get a blue FXD and also this GMT? What a tremendous line up!
Like you, I think the lume should be stark white (this is MilSpec, right!?!), I think the bezel insert looks somehow a bit busy (the dividing characters between the numbers could do with being a bit smaller perhaps), but most of all it just looks a bit too much like a Bremont for my liking.
You know you're in a bad way when Tudor goes full Bremont... you never go full Bremont 😉 And that bezel insert, great point about the dividing lines (they could've been either thinner or smaller) How does the OG FXD dive bezel look less busy? Well said as always sir! 🥃
I have never been a Tudor fan, but with what they have released in 2024, has changed the way I see them. Imo, Tudor is becoming as relevant as Omega if they keep this trend. Love the FXD.
I’d love to have that on a bracelet with a bi color bezel! I don’t really like the dot indices with the snowflake hands on the Black Bay line. Go full snowflake or not at all - just like this.
Design wise i think the FXD is close to the best thing going in the tool watch segment. I prefer the blue straight time version but this one is really cool, well done tudor
Let me something more - I love your reviews. You are not really about into chronology but more about wathes itself so not the complication of the movement but more for the marketing of it. However when we take Commando Hubert with Blue FX or now Zulu FX it is jus great.
My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from AMZWATCH
So so surprised the FXD line is getting so much attention from Tudor. They must have some mega market data showing it’s a top seller, which surprises me given the fixed lug case/no bracelet option. Not what I would have ever assumed would be popular with the masses
And here I’m thinking the FXD line is drowning (ba-dum-bump) and they’re doing anything they can to drum up the interest? Either way… I’d hold all of their inventory if they’d let me 🤣🥃
@ID-Guy super interesting situation with the line. 5 variations across 3-4 years.. I don’t think any watch brand/model can match that, and with such specific ties and influences, very strange.
Well, you said it ID Guy, if there was one little thing to change, it would be the tone of the lume, deal breaker for me and I am sure for so many others, brands have to ditch this nonsense, Omega did the same with their latest release of the First Omega in Space.
Great analysis. Cheers 🍻 The OG is STILL the best. In fact, the FXD versions released after the OG do absolutely nothing for me as they have moved too far away from the original brief. Very happy that I have an MN 21.
Your fandom of the fxd is renowned almost more than the fxd itself
It should be criminal at this point 😉🥃

Haven't watched the video yet, but I know Im gonna love it 😂
Damnit @IDGuy! Great video, but I want your rendering. You took a perfect watch, and made it, more perfect. A black case would be sick.
That final one on the wrist? I stood back and thought it was real 🤣 Love it when renders get so good that they blur the lines. Like you, an all-black, maybe a black strap? Ah… dig it 🥃
Holy smokes! I really like your rendering. DLC with the black stripe on the band! Winner
I agree. I really like the Tutor line.
Love your channel with so many stellar watches! For me the AMZWATCH’ watch is my favorite. Keep the videos coming. Thanks.
Outstanding video.I have to go with the MAMACOO, especially with that green dial as my favorite
As an owner of the black FXD, I prefer the stark white dial markers and hands to this faux look. It’s not bad, but would just preferred it if they stayed consistent on that front. Great insight as always, and was excited to hear your take on this release.
The FXD is my perfect go to watch
This new GMT would be equally amazing.
Would have really loved to see this with a dive bezel and an internal 24 hour scale on the chapter ring or dial.
Excellent combination idea (there would've been plenty of space for it too on the dial) 🥃
Love MAMACOO watch,Such a great looking watch to match with the precisionist movement.
Such a great watch. I am a huge fan!
The definitive review…Lumicast plots would have been perfect ;)
You can never, NEVER have enough lume 😉🥃
Outstanding video.I have to go with the AMZWATCH, especially with that green dial as my favorite
I adore it - truly. It leaves me speechless. However, I'd have to try it on. I fear it may be too large for me.
Great video!
Great time indeed!
FXD GMT… 6 letters that really tickle my pickle. PERFECT
For me, this is a better Explorer II alternative than the black bay pro, despite the obvious similarities between the explorer and the pro. The visually slimmer case (not sure if it’s actually slimmer than the pro) and military aesthetic are right up my street.
And to think I’ve been looking the Exp2 so much over the past few months… seeing my FXD now with a GMT complication… ah, it’s too good! 🥃
2025 might just be the year 🔥
@ID-Guy A P39 GMT would look sensational with the slight sunburst. I don't dare imagine a blue GMT
Come to think of it: a midnight blue P39 GMT, in Germany Guinand calls it "Prussian Blue," would be truly the one watch collection, or very close.
I'm still really enjoying my BB pro but I'm a sucker for gmt's , so this will be my next purchase but I will wait a year to see what they do.
We all know that these will be going for a great price in the next 6ish months 😉🥃
Great vid as always👍 It's a good explorer 2 alternative 🤔
Superb content as always... it's a rather attractive timepiece. The Pelagos range has always appealed to me... especially the LHD.
However, a Rolex alternative it is not imo... for better and worse.
Keep up the good work.
😊
Well said Steve. Think I threw in that line because the FXD has travelled to many different continents with me (and to some sketchy places) AND boy did it ride under the radar… they’re so effing cool and nobody even looks at them twice 😆🥃
I was saving for the black FXD but now I might go for this instead!😅
You ever think about narrating audiobooks? Or Nature Documentaries? David Attenborough 2.0. Combine your love of watches with traveling the world with BBC for documentaries and you will change the world.
Phenomenal Release by Tudor. I owned a standard Pelagos I wasn't in love with but this one gets everything right that I didn't love about my Pelagos. I actually love the off-white vintage vibe they went with and am with you on the orange. Also love your rendering in black. I've been trying to get my hands on an Explorer II but this release makes me want to bag that and go for this.
Love everything but the fixed strap bars. I need a bracelet option. I like the looks so hopefully will make its way into the standard Pelagos.
Conflicted about this vs the BB GMT. Love the render.
Great video as always, but I still prefer my BB GMT Pepsi dial. I like the chronograph Pelagos though.
AMZWATCH has set a new standard for replica watches. Their craftsmanship is impeccable. Its hard to tell the difference from the originals
Well, you said it ID Guy, if there was one little thing to change, it would be the tone of the lume, deal breaker for me and I am sure for so many others, brands have to ditch this nonsense, Omega did the same with their latest release of the First Omega in Space.
100% agree. Lets make famously legible watches less easy to read.....complete turn off on both these watches you mentioned for me.
Great analysis. Cheers 🍻 The OG is STILL the best. In fact, the FXD versions released after the OG do absolutely nothing for me as they have moved too far away from the original brief. Very happy that I have an MN 21.
You had me at " Sinn" !
Would like to see one in the metal, looks great.
Dig the fact that these are all using the same base but can create watches that appear so different 🥃 Like you, gotta see this in the metal 🔥
