Leather sewing machine is a Cowboy CB-4500 I purchased from Toledo Industrial Sewing Machines LTD. This leather sewing machine works great for saddle making and leathercraft projects. The sewing machine needle I use range from size 180 to 230 and the thread I use is mostly white polyester size 346 although on some lighter weight leather I use 207 or 277 thread in assorted colors.
That my Sensei right there!!! Making it look easy!!! I have been sewing on a Cobra class 3 everyday for many of years making custom weight belts 10mm two ply Cape Buffalo.I still use the speed control on 5 to insure perfection at a Pro level like YOU!!!Thank you my friend!!Thank you for sharing and caring for us!!!

Pull the loop in the center then trim off.....

American Leather Direct has the lace leather sides.
What tool do you use to mark stitch pattern?
I have a stamp I use with a mallet to mark the shape.

Hi Bruce I have an old Fernand bull 900 and it still has the original motor sometimes it's hard to control should I get a servo motor for it and if so would it bolt up to my machine
Yes you can get a servo motor and it should easily bolt on. Weaver Leather Supply has them in their catalog.
