How to Create a Professional Signature for Gmail

Today I'm showing you how to create a professional email signature in Gmail.
You can customize this signature to suit your brand however you want! You'll be able to change the fonts, colors, icons, images, even the whole layout! Once you understand the basic tricks and framework of how to make a Gmail signature, you'll be able to create whatever style signature you want!
Gmail doesn't make creating signatures very easy. The signature editor is really lacking in any sort of design functions, so that's why I'm here to help!
Since there’s a lot of different steps to creating a Gmail signature, I figured it might be easier to watch me create one in the video and follow along.

worked great even 5 years after publication. gmail has changed a little but still works. Question is what fonts and sizes did u use for the text?

Amazing, thanks! A tip for getting the icons the same size: In google docs, click on an icon, click image options and choose a size for it, then do the same for the same size for the other icons.

Thank you for the great tutorial. I find that now you can actually do all editing and hyperlinking and resizing in google docs and then simply copy and paste over and it will all copy. This saves the headache of editing within the signature panel. Also now in 2022 the signature panel is small and not able to be resized.

Just one problem- when I send an email with my signature and open it up on an smartphone (in my case, iPhone), the social media icons are positioned on the other side of the logo, i.e. NOT where I originally placed them in the signature box.

Great video, nicely done. I had the same problem others have experienced with the formatting not copying over from a Google Doc to the signature, and I had it in Chrome and Safari. It seems that Gmail has foiled the user experience once again. Of course, there's no way to reach out to them about it or about any other gmail problems.
