I'm actually a huge fan of the challenge some of the cairns or "stone stacking" is
It's not commonly known but this Animus Anomaly along with some others and a few cairn stacking quests were actually designed by none other than the Abaddon, also known as the Angel of the bottomless pit, the Father of Lies, the Serpent of Old, the Son of Perdition, or as we name him, Satan. Yes he was brought in to design a few and he put special attention onto this one in particular.
Wait so what i learnd from the the mythological assassin's game is that the isu was the ancient gods! Roman greek norse etc! Does satan and the christian god are isu in this universe too?

This is by far the most annoying thing in assassins creed ever ive re done this so many time because i fall at that stupid last step every time
I haven't raged since my early to mid 20s and I thought this one was gonna make me grab my chest after I raged. Still not done, got to the I'm gonna throw something and moved on. Seriously the last step every time
Update im completely done with the game except the bugged fishes and the ragnar fight
The thing that makes this Anomaly so unfair are the spawn points

I raged quit on this thing earlier on because it spawned me by some glitch at the beginning of this event, but now I have to mop the map up the PMS is coming back!
No it’s it’s having one point you can spawn back to without having to do it over

Initially i looked up this video for a guide to complete the anomaly. After watching the guide, i decided to just quit the anomaly and continue playing as a badass viking.
I literally just gave up on it and decided I’m no longer going to waste my time on them ❤️
I’m going to keep trying but I keep messing up when I align the second power source for some reason. I’ve come to far haha this game is seriously a chore at this point.

I have never hated a climbing puzzle in AC more than these anomalies...
I thought that obstacle course to find one of those tombs in AC2 was bad. This is whole other level of BAD.
A honest question. Why can these just be a cool obstacle course? Climb high, climb long. Slide down a long slide thing. None of these lasars pointing or red death walls. Just a nice calm obstacle course
Edit. I just went back to Norway since im level 287 and i did the one in hordafylke. Its the best one. Its huge and fun to to. Why didnt Ubisoft make them all like that

2:47 if that platform lasted maybe a couple seconds more this whole puzzle would've been fine.
The difficulty spike for these puzzles is fk insane. They start out tolerable but then become so challenging that people want to stop doing them.

Kudos for the dev team who decided to ignore like 12 games with really dodgy controls and add a platforming level anyway.
To think about they probably had meetings about this sh*t and thought it was a good idea to add it. This will be the first AC game I will not finish at 100%

Anomalies and cairns, I'm not sure which I hate more. I feel like they deserve my hate equally.
The worst part is I still have no clue what cairns are and I feel like I haven’t come across any??
@@SvanEsch123 It's the stacking stone, if you do all the mysteries even norway (starting area) has one if I remember correctly.
Starting areas are pretty easy but at one point you get to areas that take you 1 hour to stack damn stones.
@@MinsEducation i literally came across one half an hour after I wrote this comment, the one at the waterfall in Snotinghamscire. I gave up, I don’t have the patience for stacking freaking stones, even if the reward is cool.
for real. some are easy, but others in the more advanced areas were awful.
A fart can blow the damn stones over as your stacking them. It's ridiculous.
How is your character jumping so smooth, mine jumps like it's a 90ft gap on 3ft leap

This one seemed pretty straight forward. But I stated doubting myself after failing the 2:55 jump for 638th time.
Skill issue
The second I saw all these beam lights, I pulled a UA-cam guide real quick.
THAT JUMP IS ACTUALLY THE WORST WHO DECIDED "WHAT IF WE MADE IT SO THEY HAVE TO JUMP *BEFORE* THE PLATFORM APPEARS"
This really annoyed me because I was moving them and I fell off and now I can't get back to the place I was because the reflectors are in a different position!
I fell so many times. Don’t give up this video really helps.
@@sabrinap3356 yeah literally if you failed on a certain step you cannot complete it, as you can no longer get to to the necessary section as it spawns you back in the middle
You have to restart the entire thing it’s severely irritating
I just got the same problem, checkpoint in this anomaly is broken and it's just so fucking stupid.
You need to reload previous save and start from very beginning

Stone cairns got to me more than this did, this is a very clear 2nd though.
Totally agree, they're just fillers, it feels much more empty than odyssey, those world events are utter trash aswell, I'd of preferred actual sidequests.

After I fell off at 4:10 I respawned back on the right hand side. However the reflector I moved stayed where it was so I was trapped. See these other comments going months back complaining about the checkpoints don't know why this isn't fixed. At the very least the reflector should move back to where it was.
Still isn’t fixed. I deleted the game and decided to stop supporting Ubisoft and their shitty games
i would not have completed this without this video. slowing down the video for some parts helped me figure out timing for jumps.

Two thumbs up on this video, it helped me a lot after a bunch of frustrating tries. I was aiming at the wrong blocks and with a little better anticipation on my jumps I was able to complete this anomaly.
I adjusted (2:30) the beams and when i am at 4:20 I fell. So, I have a question. WHY AM I RESPAWNING AT SECOND PLATFORM EVEN THO I FINISHED ALL 2 PLATFORMS!? Thank you Ubi.

thank you for your help. ive figured out a few of these by myself, but this one was probably the biggest pain in the ass. dont know why they had to put these in the game. this....and stackin those damn rocks. some of those are just about impossible.

Its a good thing I ignored part of what he did in this video or I would've been stuck for hours. You dont need to go back and shine the lazer from that first part at all. And if you do and fail you have to restart the entire thing because it strands you on a platform.

If anyone’s not getting the interact prompt at end: I was watching this, trying to see if anyone was having the same issue, & realized I didn’t hear the last conversation, ie “Data wrangler” so I jumped a few places back down and it triggered the dialog. Got to top and interact appeared

This game tests your patience. Has well over 700 collectibles and most if not all of them require some sort of 2-3 minute puzzle solving. I started this game with the intentionof platting it but thought real good about just quitting the plat.
