I'd take upscaled frames over ai frames that don't look as good. Shoulda just kept improving dlss 2.0. They made their cards weaker and are using dlss 3.0 to make up the difference.
Nobody cares about those fake frames when you play ANY game without DLSS 3, then what? Thats right! Trash performance!

Undervolt that card and you'll get it around 96W without losing much of a performance.

You loose something more important with underclocking : System stability. People really don't know what they are talking about when they recommend underclocking.

Rtx 4060 is only about 3 to 4 percent slower than 3060ti but i recomend 4060 since its a newer gen ( they both have 8 gb vram) and if ur trying to build a pc with 3060 ti and if it is 350 to 400 just buy a 4060 wich costs about 250 to 300

Go for 3060 12gb u can get slightly more time in rendring but u cant increase the v ram of the gpu so go for the 3060

So 4060 is the clear winner here, but off course you don't gonna buy 4060 if you already have a 3060Ti. And undervolting is a crap argument because it can make your system unstable just like overclocking.

I have never had a pc. I’m about to start building one for myself. So for someone that has never had a gpu. I feel this 4060 will be perfect for my i5 12600k. Or if there’s anything you guys recommend. Don’t be shy, I could use all the advice I can get. Maybe the 4070…
depending what you want if you got the budget go for one of those amd is more dollar per performance in games 6800xt,7800xt,6950xt for Nvidia I'd go for 4070 or 4070ti all these cards great and will run 1440p easily. If you don't care about 1440p go for 6700xt it can still do 1440p just not as well as those, hard to beat that for the price. just above ones a bit more future proof and wouldn't go anything lower than 12gb vram again for future proof, if you don't care again future proofing and will swap everything in like 2 years can just go 3060,3060ti 6600 depends on the pricings in your country.

@@es1alexlopez I would splurge for the 4070 if u can afford it. With DLSS3 and frame gen you'll push some major frames. I have a 1070 still and I'm ordering a 4060ti. AMDs 6700,6800,7700,and 7800 are all good but I've had zero issues with NVIDIA. I did have driver issue with AMD in the past.

the people that say no are pretty dumb, yeah 3060 ti has a tiny bit more performance but the 4060 has the new framegen and its more efficent, 3060 ti is an outdated card, it doesnt even have more vram to back it up, 6700 xt for the win tho
Framegen is good but it doesnt make the fact go away , this isnt a 4060 , this should have been named 4050
@@Clanckey yeah it should had been named that but it hasnt, what can we do about it, compared to 3060 ti they nearly perform the same but 4060 has the newer features which will actually have a lot of effect like it or not sadly, 3060 tis little performance gain is just not worth it over 4060's newer features, in that price range tho i would always say 6700 xt tho because that ones pure performance gain is actually worth it

@@i_wasnt_here1135 as much as i dont like the 4000 series, its would be actual ignorance to say 3060 ti is better than 4060, they perform nearly the same they have the same amount of vram but one has the newer technologies like dlss 3 has a lot less power consumption and has a av1 encoder, a bad take would be being ignorant and saying 3060 ti is better than 4060, but even then 6700xt is the better choice compared to both because the performance difference actually does make up for the loss of newer technologies

Naw ,dlss 3.5 is Really nice ,seriously nice I sometimes do 4k dlss on not very demanding games and let me tell you is like having a 3080
