I'm very satisfied with my new 4060 I got a week ago. I upgraded from 1060 6GB so in my eyes this thing is a monster. Combined with Ryzen 5 5600x CPU, at 1080p it runs all games at ultra graphics well over 60 fps most of the time. Unreal Engine 5 games? No problem. DLSS 3 got you covered. Update: Unreal Engine 5 games at ultra settings run at 80-180 fps. Very optimised graphics engine.
I'm upgrading from a gtx 1060 oc 3gb I know we got the same gpu, but I also am using an amd ryzen 5 3400G with 16gb ram,I'm getting 2 more sticks to swap it out for 32gb
My 7 year old PC had a 1070 card and always ran 1440p games. I was never disappointed that it couldn't run anything. I'm sure this RTX 4060 will work fine for my needs even if everyone is shitting all over it. It's kind of the sweet spot ATM in price and performance. I'm happy with 60fps on medium-high settings.
Yeah Andrew, that is exactly what most people want as well, just pure, simple gaming! If you can get the 4060 at a good price somewhere, it'll last you just as long and be just as good as the 1070 was. I had a 1070 back in the day as well, gave it to a friend of mine and he is still using it!😅
I'm settling for this because I only have a 1080p 144hz display. The low power and good power efficiency is a big plus to me. I'm not really a performance freak like most other gamers, I just want the perfect balance of power, efficiency, performance, and price.
I don't know much about P.Cs I got one recently but I get 4k 60fps but I think it could be due to my tv having it's own ram maybe everywhere I look people saying it can't do 4k 60fps

Damn...it do be a sexy looking card but I almost feel like they made it look good to make up for the fact that it just just performs as it should and although I don't know much about DLSS(Deep learning Super Sampling), it seems like this card would be pretty avarage without it. The price though...helps a lot with making a decision, but should I rather wait for the 4070 to "future proof" my PC at a budget? 🧐
im thinking- might even be best to wait another year... its a nice "budget" card for new builds but im not so sure about weather its a good option for an upgrade
FYI the 4060 under full load less than 150 Watts, the 4070 in the same condition is well over 200 Watts, if, like me, you're looking for best bang for less power the 4060 is a good choice, power here is expensive, I don't want a 1000Watt space heater when I game.
That's a good point...a lot of cards would actually just be OK, it's what a lot PC builders forget to mention to folk who just don't know, you can game properly off really low level equipment!

Asus and Nvidia both recommend at least 550w, so it might run depending on your other parts but it probably wouldn't be the most stable or safest option.
You can clearly see it's more than 2 slots thick. You couldn't put a PCI-E card next to it, not even a super low profile Wifi adapter or anything. It's amazing that a "reviewer" could hold the card physically in his hands and not be able to see how thick it is... On the other hand, the ASROCK RX6700XT is actually 2 slots thick and destroys this POS at the same price right now.
I see your point, we were looking at it from the viewpoint of how many PCIe covers you would have to remove to fit the card. We will definitely keep that in mind with our next review. Thanks for the feedback
@@WeDoTech Ah. Well, "slots" refers to pci express (or PCI or ISA) slots it covers and cannot be used. It's a 3 slot cooler ;) They design it this way specifically so that the third slot cannot be used so that the fans have enough room to draw air. Regarless of the back plates, it consumes 3 slots by design.
FYI, it is NOT a 3 slot cooler and you CAN put a PCI-E card in next to it. It's 2.5 slots wide max, and I've got an old Sound card sat next to this very 4060 in my PC andnd there's perfectly enough space for everything to fit without blocking any fans.
@@ShinyHelmet If it's 2.5 slots wide, then it's 3 slots. This is obvious to anyone with any critical thinking skills. It occupies 3 slots that cannot be used for anything else.

Thanks!✊
What a great review, thank you😊
You are so welcome!
I want to buy one to 👌👌
Did you get one!?👀
Haters RTX 4060 is a monster
Yes I think Nvidia did this sothat people who can afford it buy it, and those who are still saving up can buy the new one then.
i also think so
You can clearly see it's more than 2 slots thick.
It's a 3 slot cooler ;)
They design it this way specifically so that the third slot cannot be used so that the fans have enough room to draw air. Regarless of the back plates, it consumes 3 slots by design.
@@iancurrie8844 makes sense, will check into it thanks!
Definitely worth the money, love the video!🔥🔥
i think it should be a good buy IF you want to go the RTX route
R100 000 🔥🔥
don’t care about reso just frames and the 4060 is it*
Skip the entire 4000-series! 😪
You're the only one that says this...👀
Nah, the 40 series is honestly pretty disappointing. 30 series was great, but this is just a letdown.
its truely time for them to step their game up of drop their prices
ok
who else wached this on a 4060 😂
I did already
Nice
👌
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
😎🎉
Its a small boii
Little guy
its a little baby
Cool!
Been waiting for this card! What do you think?
@WeDoTech it looks amazing! I would love to have it but i dont have the money 😂
Another let down from Nvidia.
Yeah, price wise! anything else you dont like about the card?
@@stefanvdmerwe
Performance, lack of Vram, it's poor.
@@stefanvdmerwe lackluster performance, high price, availability issues, uninspiring features, and unrealized potential. It fails to offer significant improvements, justifying its high cost or addressing previous concerns-another letdown from NVIDIA.
Liegt immer im Auge des Betrachters, also nicht verallgemeinern!
Do you have the card?
