To have pulled off this first song live with such precision is a testament to not only their creativity but true professionalism as a band ..... THE TRUE "News" of the Universe is that there is a band out there beyond YES RUSH Beatles Stones Zep that believes in themselves and their destiny....here and now Enjoy :) and then hopping straight into Poppies...Audrey is so solid and spot on wow can't get enough of this video
I love the old line up but daaaaamn, this new line up and song they all make together is so refreshing. La Luz and Shanas solo music has been there for many years for me and this new album is wow! a breath of fresh air, not what I expected but definitely what my soul needed to hear. I hope they come down to mexico some day.
i saw them live for the first time 6 years ago and now some days ago again and for the first time with this new line-up. absolutely amazing live performance. didn't know that shana had breast cancer. good to see that she is doing well now. 'always in love' is definitely my favorite song of the album. thank you KEXP :)

Add me to the chorus of being introduced to La Luz by KEXP back in the day. As a Surf-head the early days really grabbed me but the way they have morphed their sound really keeps the quality up. Plus it always sounds glorious... love the new influences in this album and awesome to see Shana rock out!
Just saw them in Durham, NC at Motorco. Leared about them through KEXP about a month ago thru the Kairos Creature Club session. Give them a listen, they are amazing!
They seem to be harmonizing more. That's good. Was not digging the new lineup with the departure of so many of the old members especially, Marian. But they actually were piping up. Maybe they just need time to gel. This new album is the only one I have not bought as of yet on release.
yeah how the hell do you pull off such an incredibly difficult song.... and make it sound better than a recorded studio version..... and these gals do it repeatedly across their career !! Don't give me the digital fake crap .... Shana is a "Master" at evaluating Talent and the new members are testament to that !
