This session is UNREAL. The fact they recorded it in what seems like a perfect one shot, the way they’re all so technically perfect and that everything comes up so clean, the way they’re all so coordinated instrumentally and they sound like an album, the harmony of their voices matching so perfectly, the way they rearranged most of their songs and worked their transitions, not to mention the incredible (literally) sound engineering.... this is mind blowing 🤯.
I discovered this band around 3 years ago when they just had a few EPS, I know they had something special... but After having seen them live 3 times and now seeing THIS, can say that they’re hands down one of the most talented and technically perfect band around.
Such good instrumentalists, this is masterpiece

As this amazing video is about to hit 2 million views, let's take a moment to get to know the Australian artists that make up Parcels (in no particular order):
    - Jules Crommelin: Lead guitar, lead vocals
    - Patrick Hetherington: Rhythm guitar, keyboard, lead vocals
    - Noah Hill: Bass guitar
    - Louie Swain: Synth keyboard and effects
    - Anatole "Toto" Serret: Drums
They all get credit for backing vocals.

      *Myenemy* (3:15)
So fired up, take a seat.
So tied up, only make believe.
All my love, take from me,
All eyes up, but nothing there to see
And what I never touch, I see
      And what’ll never touch me
      I would've never thought, I’d be
      My enemy
      Cold enough, it’s shaking me
and it's so tough just waiting patiently
So time’s up, it’s jading me
And so I must fight the time we keep

      *Bemyself* (6:45)
      I know that I can't be a few,
      I'll be myself
I'm told to be over the moon,
      I can teach myself
But I'm old, I can feel that it's true
      I believe myself
And I know it'll be over soon,
      I can see myself
      See myself
I'm trapped, I am trapped in the boot
      I can't free myself
And I'll talk, but you know there's no use
      I can't hear myself
The road's blocked, I can tell that we've stopped
      I will lead myself
And I know if I'm moving or not
      I will be myself

      Come down

      Time to lighten up?
      I don't plan to
      Time I gave enough?
      I don't plan to
      Every eye is on us
      Every side is on us
Sing it with pride and promise, never cry
Never cry, but you know we like it honest,
you know that's why we bought you.
I like your style and all,
      but do it right.
      Do it in time.
      To lighten up?
      I don't plan to
      Time I gave enough?
      I don't plan to
I need it, I love it.
The music, the time it takes for the letter to write back.
      Let it go

Never heard of these guys before and definitely didn't expect a sound like theirs in this day and age. But as a musician I'm very impressed. Anyone who plays real live instruments nowadays as well as they do here deserves nothing but respect. Great songwriting and flawlessly harmonized singing makes their sound really perfect. Also nothing but the highest praise for the sound engineers and people behind the mixing board for this one. I know Hansa is an amazing legendary studio but absolutely everything about this recording sounds so absolutely impeccable it's almost unreal. Nothing but excellence from everyone involved.

This was a longwinded thank you. And I hope you guys see just how huge of an impact one random colors video had on our family. I hope my son continues to follow his love for music.
Lots of love from Chicago USA! btw his oma is in Germany... we will get to see you guys one way or another. Cheers til we met again!
