Real question, in India where consumers have access to the Force Gurkha, Mahindra Thar and Suzuki Jimny, why would someone spend 71+lakh for a Jeep Wrangler that can do the same thing all the above mentioned can do for alot less?

Automobile industry do need to launch cars with good mileage and make it available to the middle class too. Government needs to reduce taxes and make the automobile companies to produce affordable, value for money, safe family cars. Paying around 5 lakhs for the cheapest and base variant car seems not a value for money proposition. Ratan Tata thought to make a car available for the middle class to protect them from rain and sun during their travel. Government and other companies do need to try introducing such things. On the other side make various models that are needed various classes of people
