In a 9x13:
3 cans of peaches
Sprinkle ground cinnamon and apple pie spice on top & mix
Pinch of salt
Pour Duncan Hines golden butter cake on top of peaches
1 to 1 1/2 sticks of butter squares on top
375 for 30 minutes
Thanks for the recipe! Bet it tastes good!! But I'm thinking I'll not add all 3 cans of juice. Maybe less soupy and will still hold up the next day. ❤

Kristin, try this next time. Put your juice in a bowl with all your seasonings, add 1/4 flour & mix (don’t worry about the lumps) then pour over fruit, then add mix & cook. I’ve also seen you moisten the mix w/melted butter & scatter it. The flour absorbs & thickens the juice just a little & you pour it over the finished product & it’s wonderful. Sometimes we sprinkle raisins too😃
Add raisins, or dried cranberries, floured date pieces, dried cherries, all very good w/vanilla ice cream!

I make this cobbler too, but I melt my butter and pour it evenly over the cake mix.
How much butter do you use? Unsalted?

When you take it out of the oven you can see the little sparkle from the sugar on top and it makes a difference.

Kristen you were asking about the Jello pineapple and lime salad. You need a large box of lime jello. I large can crushed pineapple and 1 small container of cottage cheese. In a 9x13 pan open the Jello make according to the box.Then put the pineapple in with the jello ( drain most but not all the juice from the pineapple). And then add the cottage cheese drained to the pineapple and jello. After you mix the cottage cheese in the pineapple and lime jello mixture put in the refrigerator until set. Enjoy!!! 🩷

I've made this for many, many years but I don't like the cinnamon or apple pie spice flavors added. It's a personal taste preference. I melt my butter 1st and pour it over the cake mix and bake it at 350° for a longer time for a golden crust top. Absolutely delicious. It's pastor approved for second and third helpings😅 next to my old fashion banana pudding. I have also made this with other flavors using pie filling and canned fruits with flavored cake mixes. Enjoy creating other quick dishes.

I think if your peaches are in syrup it shouldn't matter? Although a little sprinkled on top couldn't hurt 🙂

I'm sorry but those peaches should have been drained, it is pure soup at the bottom and its gonna taste gross with the clumps of spices swirling around in there. The top as well is half dry half damp and partly cooked. That is way too much butter on top, completely unnecessary. This is not cooking, this is throwing pre-made ready to go ingredients. Most raw ingredients I've seen her handle is raw chicken that ended up staying raw in the iconic casserole dish of death.
I detest dump cakes. The cake mix that's still not incorporated is chalky and gross.
