I loved their McWrap with grilled chicken and ranch, their pizza was good, fast and cheap. We got it often. The thing they offered (in the 1990’s, around the time of the pizza) was the cheddar melt-cheddar sauce and sautéed onions on a rye bun 🥰. The all day bfast was awesome. I’d rather have a sausage McMuffin with egg than a burger anytime, and oh, those sausage burritos!
I, for one, loved the McWraps. I can understand the pain to try to prepare everything, but it was basically worth it. It was something different aside from McDonald's usual tasty offerings.
Mcwrap was made fresh so anything made fresh was "too hard" to make so now what's the hold up because the lines are still long and they still take forever 🙄
Every location is different but the hold up now at a lot of locations is lack of staff. Those “Now Hiring” signs you see at EVERY McDonalds is not just there they actually NEED PEOPLE. When I wows there I had to run a shift with 1 or 2 other people on most occasions..people adding items at the window, paying for an order with all change, people saying their fries are cold and want an entire new batch dropped after JUST coming out the fryer or people actually refusing to pull up when they have a big order that will take time to assemble are just SOME of the reasons for the long wait..people from the outside looking in have no idea what it’s like behind the counter Not to mention working 12 hour shifts 6 days a week!!..I felt so free when I finally quit!! 😂 The pay was not worth the stress anymore.

They also screwed up when they got rid of their Signature Crafted Burgers. The one with fresh beef, bacon, cheese, and fried onions was the best fast food burger. My go to now is Wendy's. Much better than what McDonalds has left.
The chipotle chicken snack wrap wasn't a time consuming labor intensive problem: a chicken strip, lettuce, cheese& chipotle sauce. IT WAS A PERFECT LUNCH WITH FRIES!!! Sooo good
It’s not because it’s hard, it’s tedious because fast food workers are timed, and are expected to keep on time. 60 seconds can impact timing a lot when the goal times can be 80-120 seconds (I worked at Tim Hortons, so it may not be accurate to McDonalds workers, but I think that’s the situation.).
Upper management just needed to stfu and count their yearly salary and then shove it up their ass.....anyway McDonald's isn't worth it anymore lmfao. I'll get an occasional sweet tea , but that's about all I give a shit to buy there
Ugh, I was working at one of the McPizza rollout stores. They were awful, took way too long to make, and we absolutely HATED anyone who ordered them in drive through. We could only make four at a time, so it didn't take long for us to get way behind. That is, until people realized they were basically cardboard with ketchup and cheese and stopped ordering them altogether. Luckily I missed the other items.
This was the only thing I loved getting at McDonald's but since they stop selling them and discontinued it it broke my heart because this was very good thing they had and ik it was a top seller even with the ranch chicken snack wrap

For most of its existence McDonalds had these dogs on its menu combined with a garbage pay scale. The pay scale is getting better so I can understand the aggravation caused by both of these factors. The Mcrib got discontinuedin our area and I had one of them once and that was worth going back for another. The only chain still serving shoestring fries in our area is McDonalds and while I don't expect steak fries the medium sized fries at other chains are better than what residents of retirement facilities get. Another problem with all of these food chains is independent franchising when the operators fail to conform to corporate food; operating, and sanitation standards. That gets people sick. Better to replace employees with robots in franchise facilities since the robots will perform to programmed instructions which if local populations are lucky the franchise owners and any they employ will not be able or allowed to mess up the robot programs.

Jack in the box does all their stuff all the time... The burger patties were fresh for a minute on the quarter pounder but now back to crusty cold ones like the rest of their stuff... Can't even remember the last time my fries were warm... I feel for the employees because I worked fast food before but no matter the job have some pride and do it right it will carry over to better jobs in the future.

They did remove things like Chikker sandwich ( but have it back with new red spicy sauce), the fila-of-fish been gone for years now and a cheap burger that I personally loved but was universally hated called fresh tasty, also when they had breakfast in the beginning there was a bake ham and cheese croissant.
The mcpizza till this day was one of those moments that i remember as a kid. Forget if it wasn't the best pizza etc. Just going to a famous burger location and ordering pizza was such a boss thing to do at the time. And btw i just farted.
