Meanwhile, in particular, from time to time continue recording the videos from supermarkets in a deep Russian provinces hundreds kilometers from Moscow, as the video response to those who says and truly believes there is no life in 100+km outside of Moscow and St Petersburg.
Last week, I was in Boksitogorsk of Leningrad region (500km from Moscow and 250km from St Petersburg). In this video I went even further and came to Dubovka of Volgograd region (900km from Moscow and 1600km!!!from St Petersburg).
And that is already almost two years after unprecedented sanctions imposed on Russia. Whoa!

The Leningrad Oblast region of Russia is bordered by Poland and Lithuania, and is where Saint Petersburg and Boksitogorsk are located. The region shown in this video is located directly between Saint Petersburg and Moscow. This isn't some deep Russian province as you're led to believe.

Very nice video. In the West, it is now impossible not to notice that the Russian economy has had enormous growth despite the 17 sanctions and that Russia is the main power in Europe (GDP-ppp), and will soon overtake Japan on a global level, ranking 4th. Indeed, Putin, the political elite and the Russian union have proven to be unbeatable. And today we find the European Union in crisis. Boomerang effects of sanctions. Cheers from Portugal.

Why 2 years of "sanctions"? After dissolve of USSR, anti-soviet "sanctions" had been canceled only in 2012, but in same year replaced with similar new. From that year each 3-6 month introduced new.

I think Russia can produce anything (food) for their own poeple, right? Due to their huge of land.
😊 Many Russians have small suburban plots of land and garden houses - a ,,dа́cha,, , a vegetable garden... They grow potatoes, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, garlic, dill, parsley... Lots of all kinds of vegetables. Apples, plums, cherries, currants. It's not a necessity, it's a hobby. Interesting and environmentally friendly product, fresh air, exercise 😊. In the fall, the most common question is: “Do you need zucchini?” For some reason, everyone always gets a lot of zucchini, the problem is who to give it to 😂.
This was invented in the USSR. For emergencies. So that the population can leave the cities. Just like during the Covid quarantine. There can be no hunger. The problem with cars and spare parts is that you have to get used to new products. It's a little inconvenient.

Very interesting. Looks like a good amount of snow fell in that area.
It looks like there is good nutritional foods available even in a rural area. Very good! There are many food deserts in many areas of the US now so people don’t have healthy food available and they live on highly processed food that is unhealthy. I am very impressed with Russia.

People want to see the visions of the old USSR with people queueing up to buy bread. Thankfully those days are long gone but I wonder if that’s the way forward for the west. We don’t have many shortages here in Scotland but from time to time the shelves are less full due to supply issues and transport problems. I noticed a bottle of sunflower oil at 140 roubles. Since the war our sunflower oil has jumped from around £1 to £3, just one of many rises.
Bread lines? IN THE USSR??? Well, if only during rush hour, when everyone leaves the entrance of the plant and goes to the store together. There was no food shortage in the USSR. There was a shortage of imported goods and cheap delicacies. There were always any products at the market and absolutely no queues.

Russians shop everyday . It is crazy to shop once a week . Russian love fresh products . Fresh veggies, fresh bread , fresh dairy.
