Thank you. My beautiful Jade suddenly dropped over and I am unsure if watering or light is the problem. Saw this three way tester and wasn't sure if it was worth buying but you have demonstrated it beautifully. I am going to get one tomorrow. Thank you again for your insight and information.
Hi, I got one to check the PH of my soil. The instructions don't tell you how long you need to leave the probes in the soil to get an accurate reading? How long? Thanks.
My 3 way meter always reads less than 200 lumens.... even outside during the middle of the day and I live in Arizona lol. I don't think the light reading is accurate at all but I love the moisture and the PH reading, those seem to be accurate.
I have been having the EXACT same problem! And I tested mine under an indoor grow light as well as outside in bright sunshine. Still between 0-200. But sometimes it will work if I flip the switch back and forth a couple times while it’s testing the wetness of the soil. And then I can use it afterward for a little while. It’s actually really weird.
I just now saw this comment, sorry it took so long. Here is a link to ph for a long list of plants. I hope this helps www.gardenexpress.com.au/soil-ph-guide/
Thank you for helping me understand how to use this soil meter

Grooming By Sara mine does seem to work but I question the ph reading lol

Agreed, this didn’t work at all. The light always says dark and the moisture never goes above 3. Very disappointing.
I didn't even know such a thing existed for home use. It's amazing how commonplace technology has become.
Jo Roderick seems to be accurate also.
The acidity/alkalinity is very useful.
Is it solar powered?
The chart does not cover many of the common plants. Do you know how i coud get info for plants like poinsetta, hibiscus, plumeria .....

Does it work for Mary Jane??
I think so that’s why I’m interested in buying one .
Yes lol
How much are these ?
Bought one of these and it's a useless waste of money.
