Yeah, Okada had earned the right to be cocky, but yes, he was getting very overconfident and lax in his vision for CHAOS, as he seemed to just focus on himself by the end until Jay brought him back down to earth.
I believe in the matchbooking team of NJPW.
I am sure Jay White and co are going to gt their limelight stripped out of them at their respective sign off with NJPW.
One memory i will hold forever, being a New Zealander at Wrestle Kingdom and jumping out of my chair in celebration when Jay White won while the entire crowd was in shocked silence around me.

Will Ospreay is one of the best wrestlers to join CHAOS
The whole Jay White/Okada/Gedo storyline is a masterpiece. The story was simple: Okada was on the top of the world, and he foolishle invited the psychopath Jay White to Chaos, and when Okada was vulnerable, Jay destroyed the whole team. Jay White is the greatest wrestling character ever, and Gedo is the wrestling Albert Einstein.
Lewyke it’s going to be better than Gargano/ciampa And has potential to be as good as punk/Cena or Michaels/undertaker

the storytelling in the okada vs omega saga is absolutely brilliant. the entire long-term story itself and the story they tell in the ring while wrestling. you dont need dave meltzer to tell you what a masterpiece the entire omega vs okada saga is. im upset its now over 😕

see what happens when you book a head, have a plan and you are not afraid to break down top stars in order for then to be rebuild them back up the the top star status well thats just simple and great booking and other promotions should learn form

Cause Gedo plans 2 years of storylines and sticks to it unless they have a situation like the Elite leaving. Thats why he hotshotted Jay into the leaders slot.
@@ChristopherJames1993 it helps that Bullet Club (at their best) never have a commanding leader, anyway. BC's version of a leader is more like the frontman of a band. He's the figurehead, but they all make decisions as a group, and one member takes care of another.

These are much better at this runtime. Too much history to unpack at 5 minutes, they really need 20 to 30 minutes to get all the interweaving plot story across.

This whole series has been incredible. It really speaks to the strength of the story telling in NJPW.
A WWE version of this would be a mess. With the possible exception of a long term New Day vs Usos breakdown.

Lmao WWE has en endless suppy of specials, chronicles, etc that are longer and more impressive than this ones.
New Japan wrestling is better, but no one beats WWE at production value.
No WWE's storylines may suck but their promos and montages are usually amazing.
Mate the production of WWE is 10x what NJPW has.

That Stardust Press spot is foreshadowing at its best! 2 years later, Naito went for the same move. But while at WK12 he was pandering to the fans and gave Okada time to get out of the way, this time he was doing it for himself. Finally he became TRANQUILO. Gedo is a fuckin genius.

Love these videos as someone that got to see the odd show in the 90's to watching since Dominion last year this fills in the gaps and gets me more excited for NJPW
These do a good job of clarifying the importance of Rocky, of all people. But the story is the humbling of Okada. It'll be interesting to see if the sincerely humbled Okada can beat Jay - without Tanahashi.
