Thank You Guys!
I'm so happy right now. This is definitely a blessing. Thank's again.😎👍🏻
Winner, winner, turkey dinner!
@@RetroBassinThanks Brotha!
😁👍🏻
I've watched your show for several months now from another channel I have on UA-cam. I don't know why I haven't subscribed on this channel since this is my new channel for fishing only. I started competition bass fishing during the time a lot of your gear was still popular. You always have something I loved to use. I'm a little north of you, a little northwest from Joplin, Missouri. Your show always brings back memories and makes me want to go through some old boxes I have just to check it out again. Keep up the great work and keep it retro.
Since you like comments... I love your channel because of the history lessons and the vintage vibe. I can watch people catch fish all day, but only you (that I know of) are digging into the root cellar of American bass fishing. I always learn something and it’s always fun and good spirited. Thanks for all you’re doing. I truly appreciate it. Happy holidays to you and yours.
Thanks for the support, Crazy Town!
I love this channel. I love seeing all the old lures and gimmicks. I don’t fish with old gear but I do collect it. But now you have me thinking about going old school and taking out some vintage gear. It’s good to know other people are as nerdy as I am about Bass fishing history
It's great how dusty old-school lures were, and amazing to see how they've evolved. I've learned a ton about the history of the sport watching your stuff, keep it up!
Thanks, Christopher...I have learnt a ton, too!
Just discovered your channel I've been fishing with a lot of those lures for many many years and they bring back so much memories watching your videos keep up the good job thank you and I watch you I like to watch your show all the time
Congrats to the winner and Happy New Year to the retro Bassers !
Dude... the content is awesome. The channel deserves more subs. So giveaway without a second thought.
We’ll keep dropping giveaways, Jonathan! Maybe more frequent, and smaller LOL.
I think the best part of the channel is the memories you bring back from all the time spent fishing with my dad growing up. Lures, stories, family etc... My dad taught me everything I know and he loved the small red worm version of the cream worms for bass in ultra clear quarries. You have a sub forever here. Love your kids in the videos!!! Happy Fathers Day
Love seeing the old school lures you find. I have a lip less crank that has the Texico star logo on it. The color is chrome. I think I bought it back in the 80"s? Thanks for sharing your videos.
That’d catch a Texas bass!
Love the channel and giveaways. Keep up the good work!
I’ve watched a bunch of your videos but never commented or subscribed. My father always loved old bass lures and I can appreciate the Bill Dance reference in your intro. He used to always watch Bill on TNN. I’ve recently started picking up some retro lures and being a classic country fan can appreciate the Porter lures. I have a lure from Johnny Horton.
Well, thanks for chiming in, good buddy! I’ve met a few of my fishing heroes, but never Mr. T himself!
Good stuff here. I’ve been on a retro lure kick right now. Excited for more content
Nice! What ya been throwing?
Congratulation Dan!
Giveaways are nice, but not necessary. Use them for subscription milestones. Happy New Year 🎊🎈.
Would be cool to do an episode on Retro Regional Bassin: New England, South East, Midwest, Southwest, West Coast. Highlight one retro lure that originated from each region.
Yeah buddy, great idea!
This is the dopest channel out man I dig these oldschool lures!
Best I've seen.
You the man, Coach!
Those Texaco lures are great! My grandpa had a Texaco station back in the 1930’s through the 1950’s.
May need to donate one to the Big Minnow Mike Museum...
@@RetroBassin even better would be to see you catch a lunker on one of those 👊🏼
Congratulations Dan I hope you catch a big one!
Thank You
That Rip-n-Ric is early 90s bro 👌
There was a time, that didn’t seem old!
I love your content, especially the ones with old lure brochures and tackleboxes. I'm from the UK 🇬🇧 so we don't have the Bass. But the Pike, Zander and Perch love all these great lures. I love the Retro lures, bring back many great memories.
Keep it up Retro! Love your style.🤙
Yeah, buddy!
Best giveaway on UA-cam! Love the content!
You know it’s a good one when the giver has regrets before the contest is over! Hahaha
Porter Wagner invented putting Velcro on a plastic worm to get caught in their teeth so they couldn't spit it out. I saw him talking about it on his TV show. Culprit later started making that worm. I believe it was called the sticky worm.
Great intel! I just happen to have a handful of Sticky Worms (surprise, surprise).
You're awesome man! Love the channel. Hope I can win one of your giveaways in the future!
More to come for sure!
@@RetroBassin I caught the retro gear bug a couple years ago. I really want a retro ranger bass boat similar to the one you have. Enough power to pull the kids on a tube and enough space for my family of four. Maybe I will have to go a bit bigger, but i love the classic Rangers!
Love your show its the best takes me back to the good old days
Thanks, ol’ pal!
Love old lures and fishing with them.
I'm from ny. Lived in Huntsville tx for awhile, boy how i miss big red.. Lol
I'll drink one for u bud lol
This channel is great recently stumbled upon. Been binge watching since. If your going to do giveaways should have ppl send you pictures of catches on them be a great sedgeway into Instagram
Bad influence had to buy the bass pro master catalog from my graduating year. When I started taking my freshwater more seriously thanks for the idea
Very nice! Those old catalogs are magical!!
Congrats Dan, I have tons of vintage stuff
Yeah Man I just started collecting and I love it
Thanks
you know i'm always out here!
I think that would be awesome to give away some old school lures and that way other people can kind of get in the click of the old school ways tight lines bud
Look into the Johnny Horton fireball lure. It was a collaboration between Johnny Horton and Johnny Cash. Not a cheap vintage bait with most going over a hundred but i bet you would dig the history. they made a few lure together. the other was a spoon i think.
Cool deal man. I'm from maryland so I've commented. To let you know what's happening here
Need go back to the ol’ home state soon...
I have a popper with States Farm Insurance stamp on it pick it up at a yard sale
Love the video best fishing channel on the tubes
The occasional give away is okay I definitely would like to win your boat but more content is what's important
Boat giveaway would be epic....and painful!
Congratulations Dan
Man I'm so happy right now!
Keep doing it brother
Good video. Congrats Dan
👍🏻Thanks

Love the giveaways!
I ordered like 10 vintage spinners from blue fox, because i have used my dads for all my life and wanted my own.
