Earth Song- Frank Ticheli, Performed by the Shaker Heights High School Virtual Choir 2020

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Shaker Heights High School students, alumni, and teachers came together to sing Frank Ticheli's "Earth Song" with the intention of bringing joy amid the darkness of the global pandemic.

Sing, Be, Live, See.
This dark stormy hour, the wind, it stirs.
The scorched earth cries out in vain:
O war and power, you blind and blur,
The torn heart cries out in pain.
But music and singing have been my refuge,
And music and singing shall be my light.
