This was the first techno mixtape I ever bought, in 1994 at RISE in Baltimore. Had a nice chat with Paul Van Dyk on the dance floor after his set. Magical times. ✨
I watched these throughout my childhood. There's home movies of me as a baby in 1997, watching X-mix tapes with my Dad. Absolutely quality, I had the privilege of being brought up with this music. It's a bloody travesty what the youth of today have been brought up with. I'm only 22 myself, but kids that are even 5 years younger are a totally different generation. This kind of quality music is wasted on them.
There are quite a few like me and you out There who think like That about It, I was listening To The 20Th anniversary of oakenfold goa mix on bbc Radio 1 where oakenfold was talking In different part's of The mix about It and even said In one part That They don't even make music like That anymore, It's like from 2012 on up has been The stone age of It, From 2011 back To 97 The Silver age and 96 back Into The Eighties The golden age, I wish That I Could bring back The old sounding Electronic music like This, Maybe some day That will Get To happen, tresor 2 Tape was my first experience of It back Then, I Gotta find one again and listen To It.
Original noch auf der Videokassette ! Wahrscheinlich hab ich die auch heute noch irgendwo im Schrank liegen ... ^_^ !! Aufgenommen 1993 oder 1994 vom Fernseher, "MTV`s Party Zone" mit SIMONE ANGEL ! Vor einigen Jahren hab ich dann "X-MIX - THE DVD-Collection" gekauft, Highlight ist wieder "X-MIX 01 - THE MFS-TRIP" aus dem Jahr 1993 !! Legendär, bis heute !! #TheMFSTrip1993
Last two tracks are belters. I remember taping this off the TV back in '93. I used to make my own audio cassette compilations of the stuff I'd see on MTV. The X-Mix series was groundbreaking.
Me and a friend were totally into this album and the videos on MTV at that time... a sublime masterpiece and still about the only trance I listen to up to today
This is mix is timeless!! I still have a record tape of this mix. Paul, you were the reason I visited Berlin 3 times for the love parade. 1993, 1995 and 1997!! Wonderful times.
My sweet 90s RAVE childhood
One of the best X-MIX's

Watching this as an impressionable 15 y/o certainly shaped my destiny! Such a great era for dance music.

True Love -- Breath Of Stars
Looks like colored feces when it appeared accompanied with the appropriate fart noises.
