theyre comparing it to games like dmc where the comboing is actually way more complicated, where you swap between 8 weapons that each have a bigger moveset than hi fi rush and 4 styles that change those movesets mid combo.
@@apeer8999 Well, obviously if we compare things to DMC it turns out that everything is simple and boring. It may be less complicated and easier to learn, but still I think game gives us enough tools to create cool stuff and it is actually pretty difficult to master. More doesn't always means better. For example, when I finished DMC5 for the first time I had to start using fingers I never used to play as Nero and still I didn't found button configuration that would suit me. Even Dante turned out to be a bit easier for me. But my comment was not referring to these people. I guess it can't be helped that everything seems simple when someone mastered DMC combat. I saw some reviews, mostly positive, but also some critical, and usually I have no problem with that if it's constructive criticism, but when I see someone playing like average gamejourno, using 2-3 combos most of the time and saying "This is bad and simple game" and everything he says is just how much he don't like it without any usefull information about game mechanics... actually it's not even a review. It's just someones shitty opinion and it can be misleading for someone who listened to this "review".
A worthy combo of a nickname: Chromatic Overdrive Pitch (Chromatic- all of your colorful friends are here, Overdrive+Pitch- names of the two specials in the combo)
If you launch them into the air and spam light attack, then use your magnet instead of the beat hit, you can juggle enemies infinitely until they die. This works great for trapping tough enemies into being unable to do anything.
@@p1nball729 Look, if you've lost several times, you start to lose interest in "fun" or "high ranks". Sometimes, fuckers have to die, and this is the most effective way.
If it becomes possible to mod songs into this game, you bet your ass I'm going to be kicking that target dummy into oblivion to _Last Dance_ from the Crypt of the NecroDancer OST. 160BPM.
Comboing in this game feels like dancing but with your fingers.
Isn't that dmc5
@@degitoblue6783 dmc5 is freestyling on you enemies
@@charnor2727 technically still dancing right
@@degitoblue6783 it's a very different style. The beat for dmc is not always consistent, and often changes, unlike rhythm games like hi fi
@@charnor2727 i meant free style dancing not like on the beat dancing
Now show this to those who say this combat is simple and boring. Aweosom combo

@Nubbdz v2 Yea, I know. That's my little problem. I just need to be precise with my statement 😅 Not being fluent with english doesn't help either
I AM THE STORM THAT IS APPROACHING

That tornado catch was cool.
Gave that Elite Saber the whole damn concert.
Bro used all combos on him.
And at the end robot just stood up like: "Tis but a scratch"

OK, so this does work... but there is no way you are going to get a high ranking. Also, it isn't necessarily fun.

@@thatonedude05 Yeah I can definitely see it as a last-case scenario, and it can be helpful especially for higher difficulties. I agree with you.

Wow that looks so fun. Can't wait to buy the game after my mock exams are over. Been looking forward to it for ages
This is actually really impressive gameplay, damn
Now do that to kale
Bosses can't be combo'd for too long. They have a Burst mechanic that will prevent constant juggling.
AWESOME!
0:46 the closest we get from judgement cut chai
Bro my chai is like yours we got the exact same drip no way
wait- there's a turbo mode?
It's in the training mode setting "song speed".
Technically some stages have higher bpm than others.
@@c01onel wish there was a bigger difference to some of the songs, though.
4 hits, hyper combo
