Hi-Fi Rush (stylized as Hi-Fi RUSH) is a rhythm-based action game developed by Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda Softworks for the Windows and Xbox Series X/S platforms. It was announced and released worldwide on January 25, 2023.
The game follows a self-proclaimed "future rock star" Chai (voiced by Robbie Daymond in English and Hiro Shimono in Japanese), who becomes a "defect" of an experiment that gives him a robotic arm and the ability to sense the rhythm of the world. Using this power, Chai and his friends face off against the corporation responsible for the experiments and its leaders. Hi-Fi Rush also includes licensed music from real bands such as The Black Keys and Nine Inch Nails.

back in the 90's i put a screensaver of some "action man" guy on my friend's and told my friend not to touch it because it was the anti virus running and if he touched it the viruses could escape. he called me 5 hours later to ask if he couldn't do something to help action man as he looked like he was losing to the viruses.

One of my favorites is the robot lying on his back and working saying he has moved all the processing power from his legs to his brain to be more efficient but doesn't know how he'll get back up lol.

This is one of the only games that compels me to talk to every npc. The writing and voice actors are nothing but incredible

RIGHT!? I never have patience in games but this game makes me want to do every side quest, explore the map up to down and talk to every npc
If you like jojo and is brazilian this game is just perfec for you, not counting the references, most characters in brazil dub have VA that did JJBA
Same thing with Solar Panic Utter Distress. Easily some of the best NPCs in video games ever.
This game looks like the type of show, you'd watch on early 2010s Toonami.
The animation style almost reminds me of The Dragon Prince.

I legitimately had to pause the game because I laughed for a solid minute. That joke hit me like a ton of bricks
I think it's hilarious how Microsoft went from having no exclusives to dropping a game that not only might end up being a contender for game or the year, but also outright murdered a Sony exclusive in sales with virtually no marketing either.
This is what happens when you allow a passion project to move forward.

My favourite part in the game was the SNMN appearing on a screen and going 'MISTER CHAI I MANAGED TO HACK INTO THIS MONITO-' as an enemy smashed into it and destroys it

Defunded’s right. Bankrupt means he’s out of money entirely. Zanzo’s just ran out the budget on all of his projects so vandelay’s not paying him anymore. Closer to being fired rather than bankrupt.

Robbie Daymond is amazing, he's so versatile too. He also voiced Zhao in YLAD and Akechi in P5, all completely different characters and he nails all of them

One of my favorite things about this game is that almost every robot that isn't security/military literally do not care about you at all and will talk with you. Truly the epitome of the middle class worker society.
