  • Crazy abandoned house with everything left behind. Explorer #35
    Ontario, Canada.
This large abandoned house sits on a large property out on a country road far from the main town. This house has heavy decay as the roof on the second floor is leaking. This house was rented out over the years but now it sits empty and abandoned. This property is near new development so its sitting waiting to be demolished at some point.

    About me:
I have been exploring abandoned places since I was a child and now I would like to film the explores and share the videos with you.
My father took me to my first abandoned house when I was 7 years old. I remember going into the house and a old farmer came in and told us "we better watch out as the floors are all rotten and unsafe". Ever since that day I was hooked on exploring abandoned places.
If you have a location you would like to share with me or want me to explore for you please send me an email at abandonedurbexcanada@hotmail.com and I will give you full credit for the share in the description and during the video if you choose.

No matter how it's sliced, it's just very odd that a family would leave pretty much all their belongings behind, precious baby photos and other memorabilia included. Mould just doesn't suddenly appear overnight but it sure looks as though the family disappeared in one! Erie but fantastic explore, Brent! 🙂

The front of the house looks beautiful. Alot of interesting stuff left behind. The electronics that were left were probably broken. Love that corner bench in the kitchen & the cherry blossom tree, on the wall. Will never understand why people leave pictures behind. Great find. Thanks for taking us along.

Oh my goodness every time you open the fridge and freezer is so funny. Such a shame that they left so much. And with kids by the look of it. 😢 Maybe it was a domestic issue where they didn’t have any choice. Thanks for sharing.

gotta think about the people that built it and when it was finally done, probably felt a sense of pride for their work, just to have people come in and destroy it.

Hi Brent. This home is a heart breaker with all of the children's things strewn everywhere. Geez, mold is on everything. I would have just walked away too. The people can never replace their cherished belongings, but can start anew life in a healthy place. What a shame. Thank you for the explore and I hope you took several showers after this tour. Much love and be safe.

It appears the occupants may have left in haste. Even if the roof was leaking you make arrangement to move all the contents out of the home. Were the people renting the house? Sometimes people will leave in the middle of the night if they can't make a rent payment.

Looks like someone lived there liked to drink a lot and didnt keep a clean house. The filth around the kitchen cabinet and drawer handles shows lack of cleanliness. Maybe parents were addicts and were arrested and kids taken away. Maybe parents split up and everything just got left behind. Who knows. Must have been some crazy situation though because who leaves behind so many things like the things left there.

The home looks in great shape on the outside but the decayed roof has really taken a toll on the inside! It looks like it used to be a nice family home with tons of kids toys & lots of workout equipment to stay in shape for the parents. Lots of kids rooms. The mess doesn't look like vandalism because there are expensive items left behind. Why the upstairs is such in total disarray is puzzling. Based on the cube truck, seems they were ready to move, but something happened. P.S. i found an old church in BC for you to see,, its said to be haunted. Butter Stone Church..look it up. Its on the outskirts of the city i live in. ( I think you know where I live lol)

It was a busy house gone downhill fast it seems for there is a lot of toxic black mold, water damage and those frozen walls if they were there as late as 2018. The glass tea warmer at 6:46 probably had some kind of herbal tea in it from the color. Large bird cage at 12:36 and later a fish tank shows they had pets. The pink drum kit at 8:10 makes me think they had a teenage girl who was the drummer, as well as a girl age about 5 to 7 from the dress size. Sad about the baby album left behind. The exercise equipment at 17:19 was fairly expensive, as was the Single Malt Whisky container at 17:55 on the counter top. If I had to take a guess, the Mum and kids left first, maybe due to the mold and Dad stayed a bit longer which is why the adult viewing items were left. Another interesting explore, and the Terminator's garage has stuff worth money. Strange they left the personal items too. Thanks Brent!

Its not that off for the walls to get frost like that if their isnt any heat on.
We lived in a place only 1 floor, woodstove was in the kitchen, when it got really cold because the heat didnt reach the hallway the walls would frost up. It was also crappy insulation as well. When it was cold we pulled our mattress into the kitchen and slept by the stove lol

If you are hearing things, then its quite possible someone died there. Souls get trapped in homes when there is unfinished business. It would be interesting to see if there was any identification of who lived there or the baby album and learn the history of the house. I don't know why but I feel its very sad for me to see this house. I sense a heaviness or heavy vibe in the house.

I have had a thought when you find all the abandoned houses with everything still inside. I mean alot of different sinarios ( I know I spelled that wrong) come to mind ive thought of most of what people have suggested but I also wondered it it was a Case of Having to evacuate quickly. ( The Fort Mac Wildfire comes to mind) when people were told they had to leave ASAP. With just the cloths on thier back ( or they weren't home and not allowed to go back) and then they just didnt go back , for whatever reason. ( ok The second part of that sinario doesn't make too much sense)..

    Hi Brent
One word describes this house EW🤮 it’s pretty gross. I don’t blame those people
for leaving. Once the roof started leaking they probably left. I don’t know why
they didn’t take any of their belongings and that always amazes me why they
don’t at least take their clothes. The baby pics should have been a priority to
take and cherish. This place now is a total train wreck. They have to demolish
this place and start fresh. I’m glad you had a mask and gloves on there. I
applaud you for having the nerve to go in this joint and show us around. Oh and I did
see that rabbit run off. Nice work Brent until next time stay safe and well.❤

I've seen hundreds of houses across Ontario just like that
All of them were what we called "clawed back" when the bank takes it back for missing payments or the owners dump it back. I've seen houses filled with antiques and others filled with modern equipment.
The sheriff delivers a statement to vacate and if their in a decent mood you'll get 1 hour to grab what you can.
Usually 40min. My company would come and dispose of contents and start the rebuild process when the banks or c.m.h.c. is ready. Theres thousand upon thousands of these across ont. Before I closed the company I had visited and quoted over 1600 properties in Ontario. Very sad to see what people lose sometimes.

    • @AbandonedUrbexCanada
      @AbandonedUrbexCanada  4 роки тому

Yes very sad in deed. I wish you still did that sort of work because I would love to explore film before this is all done. The public has no idea about this sort of thing. I think I that’s why people are interested in these videos. Thanks for sharing this😁❤️

@@AbandonedUrbexCanada the problem with letting people enter is always the same excuse...
      Insurance..
If I shared the scale of the total property's I've quoted along side the claw back houses and the amount of houses I took part of rebuilding that were former grow houses busted for weed most people wouldn't believe me at all.
The grow houses were ten fold! Sometimes they had stuff too but mostly equipment for growing. When I closed the city of Scarborough had 8000 active rebuild underway and estimated 12 thousand still in operation. Across ont there were over 30 thousand houses on the active rebuild list. 90 percent were grow houses. That was Ontario only we didnt travel outside of Ontario.
I would quote a property in Windsor one day and head out to Cornwall the next. Oddly the town I live in (Milton,Ont.) had only 2 properties which was great as far as travel was concerned. I spent 6 years traveling to every city and town in Ontario. It really is a massive issue.

That house hasn't been abandoned for too long, at 4:25 there is half of an LOL Doll ball, they were created in dec 2016. My girls are obsessed with lol dolls and that actually looks like a newer ball that has been drawn on with permanent marker.
My guess is the mold got too bad before they realized it and had to leave everything behind. What a shame because that house could have been saved had they caught it early on.
