Cross country flight to Jeffco via Paine.

  • Took the Cardinal up to Paine Field then Jeffco for good food at the Spruce Goose. Ceilings dropped on the way back. Dodged clouds while avoiding SeaTac airspace. We were happy to get through and get home. The controllers at Paine were very professional and friendly.

    Looks cold! Cardinals are great. I ferried brand new ones from the factory in Wichita, in 1974. Each had .2 on the tach. Just an engine run-no flight test. Ps; you might want to adjust your go pro and sun visors a little bit, for better viewing.

      That’s awesome you got to take them out brand new. I totally agree with the GoPro position. Still trying to find a sweet spot to mount it.

      Not great. Heading back a special metar update for KSEA reported 800 and 1.5 vis
