I really like that you do a few rows till we have a chance to catch on. I think you do a great job of teaching. I’m so glad I found you. I am 75 and I need a little extra time to catch on. Thank you.
yeees!! robin coming IN CLUTCH with this 1 row repeater!! I recently bought the most beautiful yarn cakes from turkey, they WANT to be crafted with PLUS its getting cold enough to wear a scarf.. before i start barking next, thank you so much for the tutorial! can't wait to make it!!
You can tell that winter is on its way when we get the scarfs and blankets out and think of new ones to crochet. This stitch looks nice and dense enough to keep the warmth in. Thanks Robin 🌷🧶🌷 Maria
I ❤1 row repeats, they are my favorite stitch pattern to do. I have done this stitch while trying to do another one and did not know name of this stitch, after I finished this stitch I did the other stitch, no one noticed the difference until I explained it to them some preferred one over other, some said did not matter
I love all your projects and really love your yarns. I wish you would do a brief tutorial on yarns (colors and brands) and where to purchase them. I know it's different around the world but the brand and colors used would really help find them. Please and thank you.
I haven't crocheted since 5th grade-- I am the definition of a beginner, and I just finished a perfect scarf for my godmother in just a few days (because I had to start over twice.) But this video is so well done! Thank you!
For fringe, I wrap lots of yarn around a book or piece of stiff cardboard, and then cut all the stands at the same time in the topside ( easiest), separate into pleasant groups, and trim the ends to even them up.
Great simple stitch. I like one row repeat patterns, they are great when I just don’t want to concentrate hard on my crochet. Thank you for sharing this pattern. 🧶💜🙏🏻
I just finished making this in the same yarn in a slightly deeper colour way. It’s absolutely gorgeous. I’ve got about 100g left to maybe make a matching hat or some wrist warmers. Thank you for your easy to follow tutorials.
Hi there! I would like to thank you I m capable to crochet after years of struggling! I just started my 8. granny square learned from your video! Thank you so much! 😊
Ooo, this is a cousin of that other one row repeat you did a few years ago, but with singles instead of doubles! I've been doing the latter with thicker yarn, making scarves to donate for a local school's Christmas shop. But then I got hold of some thinner stuff that didn't look as good with that stitch and stumbled across this, which suits it much better. Thank you for posting this at the perfect time!
It's a beautiful scarf, I want to make a bunch lol. Love your videos, best explanation I have found on any video so far! I can see by watching you that I am pulling too tight and everything is curling and I am struggling to get the hook through the stitches. Thank you!
I love variegated yarn. I can be standing in Joann's(where I get 99% of my yarn), and it doesn't matter how many skeins are in solid color. I find the variegated.
I have a beautiful verigated Malaga yarn from Hobbii. Its a discontinued yarn so I only have enough to make a scarf and a beanie. Then I saw your toutorial and I knew I was saved by @hookedbyrobin once again!
Hi robin what a gorgeous scarf I love the stitch .I have dk variegated yarn.will make as a gift .thanks so much robin your amazing always great tutorials.💝💝💝
I love your tutorials, and this is SUCH a gorgeous scarf! I'm starting some charitable projects, and this would be great for scarves for seamen. Will you be posting the pattern soon? I'm eager to get started, thanks!
I still have a large skein of beautiful variegated yarn, I got as a Christmas present, last year. I'm going to start right now, before I put it off again 😆
I saw a tutorial of yours a while back where you added a new ball and then worked 'with' your tail. Can you do that with single crochet? Thanks for yet another great project 👍👍👍
very nice and easy for what I need to keep me busy while I'm 'waiting'! I'd like to make a scarf, fingerless gloves, and a hat for my busy 'I don't have to think about it' project. do you plan on such a project in the near future?
I wish thinking of making this for mt hubby and I'm thinking of using Amigo XL by Hobii. Would you recommend a slightly larger hook than recommended to give the scarf more of a drape? Thanks for all your content ❤ I've been following you since 2020. ❤
I also used to struggle with even sides. I have started putting a stitch marker in my first stitch of each row. It takes a second to move the marker up each row, but less time than having to 🐸, right?
Do you have a recommendation for an easy and quick stitch for leg warmers? I wear thin leggings at work, as it is hot in there, but my legs freeze outside. I have started some leg warmers, but they were taking a long time and didnt come out the way I had hoped. Any suggestions would be great!! I didnt see a tutorial for them, but I may have missed it. Thank you!!

I agree with you....I just turned 60 not long ago so it takes me a bit longer than most to catch on. Merry Christmas!!
Love how easy this one-row repeat is and how fast you can work it. I definitely like the look of the scarf using the variegated yarn. Thank you!! 😍🧣
You are welcome! Variegated yarn is so pretty.😍🧶
@@HookedbyRobin Agree 👍🏼🥰

I really like it alot
Love this simple stitch! How often are you posting videos here? It seems to me like a long time between videos. I’d love to see them more often!
I'm posting weekly at the moment but prior to that, I've been posting fortnightly :)

I made some in dbl stitch. I love the sgl stitch better I think.
Hi Robin, I'm looking for a 1 row repeat to make a blanket with dk weight. Something without lots of holes. What can you suggest? Should I just DC?
Re the fringe -- the yarn was straight but the finished project had curly fringe. How did you makeit curly?
It did it all by itself! I was quite frustrated with that to be honest 😂
Beautiful stitch and your sides are even. I struggle with the sides.
I also used to struggle with even sides. I have started putting a stitch marker in my first stitch of each row. It takes a second to move the marker up each row, but less time than having to 🐸, right?

Having trouble finding chain one space after turning. Actually not sure I know where to go in after doing chain.
I want to widen scarf. How can I add yarn horizontally?
I love this stitch! You are an excellent teacher. Never do you leave us hanging. Thank you ❤❤
Thank you Debbie!🥰🧶
Cute
🥰🧣
Hi, thank you for this video, the scarf is amazing! Just a question: did you use a variegated yarn or did you change different yarns? Thank you
I used this yarn: www.lovecrafts.com/en-gb/p/sirdar-jewelspun-chunky-with-wool in the colour “Sea glass”.😃🧶

What size hook???
Hi Alice, I used a 6.5mm hook but use the recommended hook size on your chosen yarn ball.😃🧣
❤🎉😅
