Thank you for sharing this video! I love your papers and projects. They are beautiful! I am definitely going to get me some egg dye and dye me some different papers.🙂
I am excited to watch your video! I wanted to throw out a bonus idea! BQ pans at the Dollar Tree have holes and when the paper dies on it it leaves lovely "dots" on the paper (mainly one side). Back to your video. . .
Oh my goodness, your projects are so incredibly beautiful! I have never seen this done, and I love them all, and I want to make them all! Not sure which is my favorite because they’re also beautiful! I will definitely try the Easter dye since they will be on sale really soon, great ideas!
Food coloring can be used to dye eggs and paper. They used to have an egg dyeing instructions on the box. Love the coffee filter envelope project. And your cheery voice. I love listening to happy people . Your so awesome. Love the tags too.
I've done regular coffee, tea and watercolor, but I love this idea. I'll put this on my Dollar Tree list for tomorrow. I edited this comment because I read someone mentioned making their own egg dye. I remember when we were kids we used food coloring, isn't that technically the same thing as the egg decorating tablets? I think I'll try that first. Thank you for this video and your beautiful ideas. Blessings and Happy Easter. 🤗🐰
Thank you so much, Lynda! 🤗 Yes, you can absolutely use a food dye, but I wouldn’t add any vinegar, because it’s acid and will damage your journal overtime. Hope you have so much fun with this project! Enjoy!! 🤗💕🌷
Try it with white tissue paper on a tablecloth outside. Use your paint brushes to fling the color on the tissue. Having a mister bottle with water will help the colors flow. Fun to do with kids after they color their eggs!!
I'm back from Dollar General now.... with 5 packages of the exact same dye...I figured that 5 pkgs would probably last me till NEXT Easter! Can't wait to try this out!!!
Absolutely lovely❣️ Thank you for this easy, straightforward tutorial, and excellent ideas❣️ I will definitely be making these. I have much of the ephemera you used… that has been just “hoarded” in my stash… I get stumped sometimes as to how to mix & match pieces together… this was full of beautiful ideas❣️Thank you, again. So great whether a person is brand new, or a veteran of crafting & just stalled… A new spin on something tried & true is just the ticket❣️😻👍🏼
This was a wonderful video. You not only gave clear and excellent directions for using the Easter egg coloring to dye multiple things but also gave good directions on things to make with them. Thanks so much. I have my egg dye. Just need to get the racks, brushes, and coffee filters and get busy!
I love your dyed color papers, they came out beautiful Valeriya. All three projects look awesome with Spring colors. I especially love the trifold folder. All the little added touches made it extra special. I will try your ideas tomorrow and I already have everything I need in my stash. Thanks for sharing more of your great ideas....♥
I love, love, love this video! Everything is just perfect! The techniques you have given to us are so clear & easy to follow! I can’t wait to try everything!! I’m getting behind, though, I still haven’t made your paper bag leather…I’m so glad I found you! Have a great Easter & see you again, soon! Erica❤ I did buy a cart I found on Amazon that has 3 metal shelves which have (metal) mesh bases, so I will now a place to dry my papers & maybe even use the top shelf to do my actual dyeing! Hi Valeriya!! I LOVE the Easter egg dyed paper!! Those colors are stunning!! And perfect for a spring themed journal!! LOVE IT!! I’m new to this journaling craft. I’ve always crafted but it’s been diy, thrift flips etc. and I’ll still do those crafts. But Ive been wanting to do journaling (making them!) for years. In fact, before Covid, we owned a small motel in Nevada. We sold it in 2020. But even then while we owned the motel I wanted to make and sell little “travel junk journals”. Nothing too big bc I wanted to make them for our guests while traveling so they could journal about their travels! But I was just always so busy. We lived on site and owning a motel is 24/7, 365 days a year. No real days off. So I’m so excited to say, I’m in the process of making my first journal!!! YAY! It’s not real big. It’s a 4x6 or a bit bigger. So kinda small but I just want to get one done!! I’m using some faux leather I made (learned from your channel!) for the cover and inside cover. And all kinds of fun paper and stuff inside. So fun! I’ll definitely be doing the Easter egg dye pages for sure!! Thank you for posting such good videos. I’ve learned so much from you! Okay, gotta get that journal made! ❤️💜💚
Hi Paige! 🤗I was so happy to read this, I feel like I am getting to know you better! How exciting it must have been to own a motel in Nevada! 🤩 What an incredible adventure it must have been! I wish you could share some stories with me over a cup of tea! 💖☕ I am so glad you are working on your first journal!! How exciting! I bet it turns out gorgeous, and I hope to see some pictures! 😉 Have an amazing day, my friend! 🤗🌺💕
I've been a subscriber from the beginning and I LOVE your projects! I actually save most of them so that I can try them too! Your such an inspiration! ❤
I love the point you made with this project. We are so fortunate to have eyes to see the colorful world around us and should feel blessed. Yes, we do tend to use mostly darker colors as we love vintage things. Your beautiful projects here shows colors and it didn't lose the vintage accent that I love. I will certainly be trying these DIY'S and I thank you once again for sharing.
Absolutely!! Thank you so much, Doris! 💖I’m so glad that you liked these projects and even planning on giving them a try! Have an amazing day and Happy crafting! 🤗🌷🦋
Miss Valeriya, they all are so beautiful and beautifully done. I liked everyone, so all are my favorite. Thank you for sharing and God Bless you and your family. 🥰💖💖💖💖💖👍👍👍👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟(🌹🐞🦂🌵)
Beautiful paper. I print them in bright colors on copy paper and then dip them in water. I add gold water color to the water. Love the way the colors blend especially your blue and purple. TFS.❤
I did this last year after my grandkids were done dying eggs and it was so fun. Your method of stacking them is so much better than what I did. I spread them all over my yard in a single layer. I’m going to try your method. Thank you! 💜
First time viewing your channel, love this project and I subscribed to the channel for more inspiration 😊. I've got to go out and find some Easter egg dyes

I LOVE your dog! That little tongue is so precious - you need to show him in every video. Oh, yeah, and the papers and projects are gorgeous - I am sick of all this beige-y trend in everything. There are so many colors in nature so why stick to beige, cream, white, ad nauseum?
Hi, Cassy! Welcome to my channel! 🤗 The glue in a small bottle is Art Glitter Glue. I transferred some in a small squeeze bottle from Amazon, as it's easier to use this way. Happy crafting! 😊🌺
Well I think my comment didn’t get posted bc I must have given too much info on a link. I was creative about it. So here I go again. As I watched the video I couldn’t help thinking when I was a kid my mother used vinegar with food coloring. Before I commented I did a search for diy Easter egg dye and went to the link for “food…. “ It’s 1/2 cup boiling water, 1 tsp vinegar and food coloring. 10 drops. For each color.
