@@larrywashington1770She set the bar so high before her last tour that so many couldn’t reach it. You must have heard something in her voice because it brought you here under a video of her. 😏
Whitney's voice is the ONLY voice that makes me feel connected to our heavenly Father. That woman was blessed and she KNEW she was divinely gifted. No matter what road she took in life she knew in her SOUL our father UNCONDITIONALLY loved her. She knew how to make us feel what she was feeling and that feeling is something of glory. Rest in heavenly strength Whitney Houston.
WHITNEY WERE AN ANOINTED WOMAN OF GOD SHE KNEW HER ROOTS ..SHE COULD NOT BE CONFFORIBLEWHERE SHE WERE IT WAS NOT HER..IN THE WRONG FIELD ..I THANK GOD FOR WHITMEY..CONTINUE .THE VOICE...IT WAS FOR GOD BENEFIT...
Whitney was the real deal. She was the voice, the one and only and the way she sang a song and make you feel every single word and note is like no other!!!
Jaron, you better preach‼ I'm over here crying because I've been so overwhelmed, but when you started extracting scripture from this performance you found a word FOR ME! "Give us this day Our daily bread BECAUSE YOU SAID YOU WOULD. " GOD BLESS YOU 🙌🏽
This my 1st time hearing this song and whew this blew me away with tears flowing wow WH was soo.powerful and anointed there isn't no one like her just NO comparing..thank you Lord know I needed this right now👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿🙏🏾❤️
Whitney Houston's favorite song was "Jesus Loves Me" and how she sang that in most of her concerts worldwide. she openly expressed her faith everywhere she went. And you sir Jaron, you better preach it. preach it Sir.
Always standing in awe of appreciation of the gift bestowed upon Whitney! "The Voice." The absolute greatest singer this earth's atmosphere has had the pleasure of hearing! Glory to God for her life and the anointing on that gift!
An amazing performance but with Whitney, it’s more than just the notes. It’s the way she makes me feel and the journey she takes me one, that was her real gift. Great that you went though the technical but also recognised what she was adding with the emotion. ❤
I was so fortunate to be able to see her live in the early 90s when I was a kid. She was my first big concert, and when I tell you that she formed my musical appreciation and set a high bar, I'm telling you she had the ability to change lives with her voice. Whitney had a magical gift. She sang with real emotional, intention, and passion. She was a once in a lifetime voice.
Jaron, this rocks! Whitney was one of the greatest vocalists to ever stand in front of a microphone. Jaron, your message at the end…THANK YOU…just THANK YOU!
One time, a supervisor of mine said he didn’t understand what was so special about Whitney Houston. He didn’t think Whitney’s voice made her a musical genius because she wasn’t known to write her own songs. “She was just a pop star.” There’s talent, there’s skill, and then there’s ANOINTING. This video demonstrates Whitney’s anointing so beautifully. Just as you said Jaron, you can see that Whitney isn’t singing to an audience. Her eyes aren’t even open during the performance. She is singing to our God who art in Heaven. She is using the gift God have her to praise Him. And He loves her so. No matter how the world exploited her gifts for profit or tried to tear her apart, she did fulfill her purpose and she continues to inspire millions with her gift. If God has blessed you with a gift, it is our duty to use what He has blessed us with so we may be a blessing unto others ❤
The spectacular thing about Whitneys voice is that, like Barbra, she takes a song and makes you imagine yourself singing it. Perfect singing and storytelling. G.O.A.T
@@AChosenGen 7:20 that lol. The pentatonic scale is 5 notes and it's the basis for most riff and runs in gospel and blues. Also a lot of the runs you hear in r&b and pop. When you sing those notes over major or minor chords it usually gives a "churchy" sound. Actually now that I'm listening to it again I think she added some notes. Technically that would just make it a minor scale run.
Thank you for this message and for your encouragement! Yes, truly, Whitney NEVER failed to give God through Christ Jesus all the honor and praise at every public opportunity that she could! Her testimony was within her voice and the gift that God gave her. No other vocalist could emote a song quite like she could and truly touch your heart.
Keep on analyzing Whitney songs-I absolutely love Whitney Houston's rendition of: 'This Day'! Thank you for your words, your words were like goldust to hear right there. Bless you.
When I first heard this over 30 yrs ago, I was floured. No disrespect to the late Edwin Hawkins, but she made this song all her own. This was just a rehearsal. This was better the performance she did of this on the VH1 Honors 5 yrs later. GOD GAVE HER A GIFT !!! There will never be another. Bless🙏
Whitney was one of few singers who could seamlessly transition between head voice, chest voice, and voice. She was without a doubt one of the best if not the BEST.
i have listened to this for many many years almost daily. this performance embodied all of who she was and her most powerful God given voice/talent. ❤❤
I am moved by many vocalists, impressed and in awe. But... only Whitney's singing and voice gives me chills. The hairs on my neck and arms get tingly. That's the best way I can describe it. No other singer does this for me.

I've absolutely LOVED Whitney from the moment she debuted. But your analysis of her songs have given me and even deeper and richer love and appreciation for her

The last song she sang publicly while on this earth was “Jesus Loves Me.” This was her self-defining song and it brings me joy.
