I needed to hear it. Was hit by a car drag racing on 12/19/22. He was clocked by a helicopter hitting me at 140 mph and I lived to tell about it I stayed in the hospital almost 6 weeks and went home 2/1/23. I had multiple fractures..my face , 6 ribs my upper arm, and my back. Had surgery on my arm ..60 staples were removed from my arm, my lungs colasped during my back surgery and I coded. Was brought back and had to have 2 chest tubes inserted and laid on my back for about 2 weeks before they could redo the surgery. I now have rods in my back for life. My hospital bill was approx 800,000 k Which God has paid off.. I am at home recuperating 6 weeks now getting stronger . I can walk again slowly but surely God is going to restore me. The boy that hit me was 20. He had no insurance. I learned that he died around valentines day. He had no insurance but guess what I got my life and I can continue to raise my boys. It's gonna be alright 👍

Jaron, you blessed me. You couldn't get off of "it's going to be alright" because you were speaking to me. I just walked in the door and saw this analysis on my home screen from only an hour ago. I am so happy I clicked on it. You brought me to tears with your encouraging words. My husband was murdered in 2021 and I'm still grieving. I can name over 100 things that went wrong for me and my children that day, but despite all that went wrong, it's going to be alright.
I am SO VERY SORRY for your loss . I lost my boyfriend back in 2020 & I'm still grieving... So I can only imagine losing a husband that you also had a family w/ . I don't get why she wasn't a household name in her heyday. She had the whole package. Voice. Beauty. Music. A missed opportunity for sure. Anyway, you were preaching to me Jaron towards the end! I needed that word 🙌
They only have room for a limited number of beautiful black women who can sing. Yet they have more than enough room for mediocre singers at best like Katie Perry, Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, Jessica Simpson and others like them.
I think she was too classy. She was covered up and classy and didnt use sex to sell. Sadly thats the world we live in.
Til this day I’m beyond baffled that she didn’t become the megastar she truly is. I think she had poor representation. At her height she should’ve propelled into world stardom but she fizzled. I’m still upset by it.

And I still feel like she has some of the best whistle tones in the game. They sound so pure. I know Mariah is known for them, but I've always preferred Chante's timbre when she's in that register. She can make them sound angelic without reverb.

You lost me with the Mariah comparison. Mariah can use several different timbres in the whistle register and never relied on reverb. She did so much more with that register.
@@ilovetati91 Well if you're lost, let me find you again. Mariah never sang an entire song in whistle...Chante has. Chante can actually enunciate vowels and consonants in whistle. Mariah has relied heavily on reverb to smooth it out. You actually can hear the reverb increase in her recordings when she uses whistle, to smooth out some of the harshness. Chante has a natural smoothness in whistle that Mariah doesn't. Mariah is still the better singer tho because of everything else she does with her voice. If you simply listen to their whistle notes side by side, it is very easy to hear the difference.

Mariah does have full songs in whistle register, she has two full octaves of whistle register, she has much strong tonal variation, mimics instruments with whistle, phrases entire words, uses complex melisma. Mariah's could be soft, smooth, and airy or piercing. She had much more technical prowess, better range, and more variety of tone. No one in their right mind would say Chante Moore is on the same level with Mariah with whistle register.
