your "ich bin dankbar hier zu sein" sounds really convincing! keep it up!
When you speak German with an American accent it sounds like simlish LOL
That’s exactly what the German exchange student said haha. “Sounds like there’s a potato’s in your mouths”
When he said "Ich bin dankbar hier zu sein" I felt that 😢
You're very humble in your explanation, and thank you very much for not putting down either country while explaining the difference! =)
im danish and they say that we have a potato while talking
For some reason I was expecting you to somehow do an impression of how American accented German sounds in English. lol.
i’m german and my dad always says that americans sound like they have a blanket in their mouth
It is just plain painful to hear the hard "ch" when someone tries to pronounce a German word.
I took 4 years of German classes, and this is exactly what I sounded like 💀
He's cute
Thanks.
“nO hHahA iM aMeriCan!1!”
I finally found where the Sims language and accent is modeled after.
When I'm speaking German, I've been asked a few times if I'm Dutch.
Grüße aus Düsseldorf 👍🏻🍀🌿☮️
Good job👍
I'm impressed! And jealous! I wish I could get to that point.

I was often told that I (an American speaking German) had a really cute accent. So while it sounds totally wrong to us (LOL!), I think it's not terribly unpleasing to THEM?
Gosh, you're so cultured compared to the rest of us. Good for you!! German folks don't have an accent when they're in America.
I know this guy
